    I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?

    My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!

    Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!

    Hello,

    We recently received our NOA2 for our K1 visa application and are now preparing for the medical exam and interview. As the beneficiary, I'm considering getting the required vaccines in advance, but I'm unsure which ones are necessary.

    I've read various accounts online about the medical exam experiences, with some individuals receiving multiple shots while others only received a couple. I'm hesitant to undergo multiple vaccinations so close to my interview date, as I'm concerned about potential side effects that could affect my health during the interview.

    Could anyone provide advice or share their experiences regarding which vaccines are necessary for the K1 visa medical exam? I found a list on the CDC website (see attached picture), but I want to ensure it's accurate before proceeding.

    Hi everyone, my brother is having issue uploading AOS and FE documents on NVC portal. AOS And FE tab are missing. Even petitioner s name was not there anymore. It was there last year, but when my brother uploaded new AOS and FE docs, it was gone. We ve been asking for help at nvc public inquiry, but they always replied with the same answer, please submit AOS and FE. We explained everything to them but we always recieve the same answer. How are we going to upload documents if we dont have access.
    Anyone have the same issue? Please help, this is very stressful and frustrating.

    I have 2 questions which I hope you can be able to answer please! Maybe this one should be in the legal section, I don't know, otherwise a moderator can move it there, thanks!

    I have not got selected, and this is mostly a thing I should worry about if I do of course, but I still would like to ask you folks.

    On the Travel State Gov site, it tells us the following:
    ( Selected entrants are encouraged to complete the online DS-260 application immediately to schedule an interview appointment at the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate. )
    I have an ongoing appeal in the court after I got sentenced to 4 moths in prison, last year. It is dated 4th of June, I will get the whole sentence somewhere between 18th and June the 20th. Will there be a problem if I would wait till then to fill in the DS-260 form? I am asking because I don t know yet if I will be acquitted in some of the offenses/violations, and thereof don t know what to put in the crime section of the DS-260 form.
    I live in Sweden.
    Second question, do you think it would be a problem with this sentence if I would win? Everyone tells me my sentence will get reduced since it was my first crimes, I am indicted of 4 crimes, not so serious really, but still
    I ve heard that if it is under 6 months, there is usually not a problem, but that can also depend on how long time ago it was or so?

    I will need a lot of advise. I'm a green card holder. Been living in New York since April 2021, married to a US citizen and currently pregnant (due in October 2024).

    My mother always wanting to visit me here and I think it's the right moment now. So not only she will be seeing the neighborhood I live in, but she will also see her very first grandAchild.

    The thing is she can't speak english and will travel alone here. She is now 63 years old. She has a full-time job and a business since 1993, and she also own a property under her name.

    Now, the questions:

    1. I know the visa decision will be 100% will be in the interviewer's hand, but do you think her chance will be pretty high ?

    2. On the DS-160 form, who should pay her trip ? Because me and my husband for all her trip expenses. But yes, she also has her own money with her now.

    3. Also on the form and at the interview, should she mention that she'll be visiting me and her grandchild or just say vacation ?

    Those are all the questions I could think about at this moment. I'm sure I will have a lot more along the way.

    Is there even any point then in trying to get this visa? Is it hard to attain or are people not applying for it? I thought it sounded like a good option to have while waiting for the cr1 visa to allow me to visit my spouse? But why such low numbers?

      I was looking at your timeline and saw you sent in form I29F after filing the i130. It seems that everything went so quick for your process. Do you think sending in the i29F is worth it and might speed up the i130? 
      What steps can you suggest ?

      Hey Shawnk, I am in a similar situation as you with my timelines. Someone recommended the same process as you mentioned to get a dual working visa. Do you have more detail on what dual intent working visa entails? What do i need to prove to get one.

      How much is the current fee for paper mailing the US naturalization Citizenship fee? Does it include the Biometric fee? Or is it combine now?
