Well it will be your case number, I believe the visa number is different. But yes this will be the number that will follow your case till the end.

It is your embassy case number.

Thank you.. also  @Naes do you know how extensive the background check was at the NOA2 level?

I'm really not sure, cause there are a lot of different theories about it. Depends on why do you ask and from whose perspective.

No problem, Sis. I'm right at your service.

Anything you want.

Now, let's start counting days for USCIS to send your case to NVC. Give it 14 days to call NVC for the case #.

My case took 20 days to get to NVC. I got the case # the same day (after 3 hrs) they received it.

After 3 days, it left NVC and after 2 dats, it was Ready (EMBASSY received it).

So, it took my case 6 days (4 Business Days) from NVC Received (At NVC) to Ready (At Embassy).

Now, you can do the following as you wait for NVC #;

1) Download and start filling Affidavit of Support Form (I-134) and try to get the Supportimg Documents for it.

https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-134.pdf?download=1

https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-134instr.pdf?download=1

2) You can start filling the DS-160 Online Form, save it but don't sign &  submit it yet.

https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/

3) Start compiling Evidence of Relationship.

*Make Screenshots from the App (e.g., Whatsapp). Have 3-4 screenshots from each month and arrange them 6 screenshots per page of MS Word. Gather Screenshots of Chat, Call, Facetime showing your phone numbers (you and your Fiancé).

* Pictures, from 6-30 of you two together, including family. DON'T INCLUDE PICTURES OF TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE!!

*Boarding Passes (If you wish)

4) Your Fiancé should get ready with his Passport, Birth Certificate.

The pictures can be that same ones we already sent with the i-129F correct or does there have to be another meeting since we filed?

07/14/18 : WEDDiNG

9/12/18 - AOS & EAD application sent

9/14/18 - Receipt of AOS & EAD

9/21/18 - Notice of Biometric appt rec'd

10/11/18 - Biometrics appt.

1/23/19 - Notice of interview date rec'd

2/27/19 - Interview date & verbal approval

No visits since we filed which is also hard, but the requirement is met in the last two years and the last time I saw him was September 21,2017 so I believe we are in compliance. Maybe i will include a screen shot of a IMO video call. HAHA

Hey guys! Can someone tell me what is packet 3 and 4 and for what I need this... Thank you!

We can't answer this without know what embassy you're from-

IN general, packets 3/4 are instructions given to you by your embassy for what to do next after your case leaves NVC
i.e. where to do medical and what documents to bring for your interview.

Medical...It will be after Embassy has gotten your case, sent the Packet 3 and you've scheduled your Interview.

Medical would be done 2 weeks to your Interview Date.
