If you haven't received your EAD card you cannot work. What you are doing is illegal and if you are caught, it can land you in some serious trouble. My suggestion is that you quit your job immediately and wait to receive your EAD card. It takes about 90 days (not including days lost due to RFE) for you to receive work authorization.

Did you file I-485 ..if so you can apply for work but need permission to work, borderline problem and if you have ITIN number maybe you are ok.

Please read:

Working cash / under table - could be a problem.

So you applied for a work authorization, correct? But you started working without your work authorization, correct? So sum this up together and repeat what you just asked yourself. What you are doing it against rules and you could face some serious trouble if they find out.

You're not the first and certainly not the last who works without an EAD. After how far you've come in the process, don't jinx your luck being in America or your petitions. I know how it feels, I also am still waiting for a decision after my RFE. Bite the bullet.

Secondly, since you received a request for initial evidence - your clock for ead gets restarted according to the official website. However, it's quite a grey area when it comes to this. Some get delayed, some don't and some restart.

Nope, it does not resets.

An ITIN does not come with work authorization, so it's not okay.

According to the USCIS website it does. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/tip-sheet-employment-authorization-applications-pending-more-75-days

But it could that it doesn't happen anymore
