I stay because I have a few friends and I enjoy helping people. I dont have citizenship and I dont know if I want it. I will decide that by 2025 probably

My wife got citizenship 3 years ago. But I have been on this forum since 2007 I think. I like to help. Although people have told me that I come across as a know it all, I try not to answer questions that I know nothing about since this is real life and not some game so I don't want to screw anybody's life up.

I'm on a pilot forum and a travel forum too. Helps pass the time at work (in between work tasks).

Oh nice. Yeah always best to exercise caution. For some VJ is no different than logging on to FB. lol

Not much of a dog person but that dog is too cute.

I'd probably take a break for a while and then come back and check it out again. I don't see the point of anything I learn on here being wasted, it could end up helping someone one day and unless I get myself banned, I don't really see me permanently leaving unless I get bored of it.

Very reasonable.

What I like about VJ is that there is a lot of comedy here. Some members put a comical spin on the process amongst other things. The cynicism as well as the sarcasm, I love it.

Have stayed on chiefly to warn people not to take any portion of this immigration process lightly or treat it casually, specifically the infernal, godforsaken, hellhole, [censored] consular phase.

I'm on a doberman forum. When I was riding all the time I was on a horse forum. I've also been on gaming forums and general area forums to meet new people. Ya know, before they had "meetup.com" lol

i once found a forum for making wurst in numerous ways, but i didn't stay - i didn't have the guts.

some time later, i found a forum on shoe making, but it was dull and had no sole.

For us, returning to dealing with USCIS (for AOS et al.) was a genuine relief. Am still too angry (after 8+ years) to write my consular review, but when I do, your computer will melt.

Our process was a bit difficult and I was grateful to some of the help I got here, so if I see someone in a similar situation I like to pass on helpful tips.
