Hi Folks,

As I am waiting for my NOA2, I have stumbled across a few posts which have slightly alarmed me. This is about the RFE's a few posters here have got.

1) When me and my fiancee were assembling the I-129F package, I (the beneficiary) have sent my passport pages which has the I-94 and entry stamps evidencing my visit to USA to see my fiancee. Along with that I sent copies of my biographic information on the passport and of course the copies of my airline ticket and boarding passes to the USA. Now is this enough or should I have sent all the pages of my passport? In the K1 guide here on Visa Journey--there is no specific instruction that the beneficiary should send in his/her passport pages. Please clarify.

2) When we sent the photographs of us together, we did not write down our names on the back of the photographs--but they did contain the date when they were printed out. Is that enough or will I get an RFE for not writing down the names on the back of the photographs? :help:

Please do let me know if I have to anticipate for an RFE.

Thanks.

1. I did the same thing. In fact I used my UK passport bio page and ONLY the page of my US entry as evidence. Never RFE'd.

2. I didn't date/label pictures either. Also was not RFE'd.

You could still get RFE'd of course. Could be for something else entirely but try not to stress. RFE's are not the end of the world and are great opportunities to submit more evidence if you want/need to.

Ah your reply calmed me down a bit. Thank you so very much for that. I wish my file is reviewed by the very same officer who did not issue an RFE for the above :) .

I guess when you have time on your hands just waiting for your NOA2, one gets all these thoughts. Anyway I guess I just need to wait and see what's gonna happen.

Thanks again for the response.

By the way I noticed that you got an RFE and successfully replied to it. If you do not mind sharing with us what that RFE was about?

I didn't send all pages of my passport, just the ones with the visa stamps. When I sent our pictures I didn't write dates or the names of people in the pictures. We didn't get any RFE

An RFE is not the end of the world. That would be a rejection. Our RFE only delayed us an extra 2 weeks. My RFE was because my lawyer didn't mark a check box on the I-129F. So, they sent my lawyer the RFE letter, asking me to fill it in.
