Sirdaniel42 reacted to Nich-Nick in Birth Certificate for I129F Packet
A photocopy is enough. If they ever doubt it, they can always ask to see it. I can tell you that USCIS never saw my (petitioner) birth certificate except as a photocopy through all the processes listed below in my signature.
The beneficiary's certified or original will be viewed at the interview in London and given back.

Sirdaniel42 reacted to Not a Tailor in im married to a crazy woman i need help
This sounds like really abusive, controlling behaviour. I mean, if a woman were posting here that her husband got mad at her for working out near a man at the gym, watching a show that had a man with his top off and daring to talk to male coworkers, we'd all be telling her run for the hills.
This sounds like domestic violence from a woman against a man. If she won't go to counselling, get out.

Sirdaniel42 reacted to msbau764 in Marrying at very end of K1
This advice may be controversial but your friend shouldn't consult with the fiance's parents regarding their marriage. If he wants to get married, then do it.

Sirdaniel42 reacted to KayDeeCee in Can I type in I-129F, G-325a, and G-1145 forms?
These have been the instructions since the updated edition came out in June 2013.
http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf
How To Fill Out Form I-129F
1. Type or print legibly in black ink.
2. If extra space is needed to complete any item, attach a continuation sheet, write your name and Alien Registration
Number (A-Number) (if any), at the top of each sheet of paper, indicate the Part and Item Number to which your
answer refers, and date and sign each sheet.
3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If an item is not applicable or the answer is “none,” leave the space blank.
The G-325A has some questions where it tells you to state None if the answer is None, so follow what that form asks from you.

Sirdaniel42 reacted to TBoneTX in Worried! Do they ask us for drugs test in the medical exam?
The OP admits to drug use and is asking about lying about it. Participants in this thread have been condoning this possible action or have not been speaking out against it.
This thread, and several responses in it, violate this tenet in the VisaJourney Terms of Service:
"Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method." This thread is locked and is not to be restarted. Administrative action has been taken. TBoneTX VJ Moderation -
Sirdaniel42 reacted to tonyb919 in He is dating online!
You know , I read this and this sounds like a lifetime channel classic saturday afternoon movie.
C'mon you already know what you need to do, you need no advice.
You need to make the ultimate decision, the brave decision....whatever that is for you
I for one if I was you and I was a woman I would leave before it escalates into more serious violence.
Everytime he hits you and you stay...you let him know that his behavior is accetable to you.
His behavior and level of violence will only get worse!
Put your big girl panties on, pack your Sh*t and leave.
Sorry if I come off to strong, but you did ask for opinions and advice!

where the Hell are you getting your information from? Are you pulling it out of thin air? You are totally off base, please don't comment if you don;t know what you are talking about, Stop putting fear into people when there is no reason for him to fear anything.
To the OP: Ignore this poster, they know not of what they speak.
You can adust status, follow the guides at the top of the page. Overstays are forgiven for spouses of US citizens as long as you have never been convicted of a crime. Good luck and keep us updated

Sirdaniel42 reacted to Ontarkie in Support obligations for my Filipina wife after she comes to the U.S.
Sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen.
She will not need to stay married to you for 2 yrs. If she left she can naturalize in 5 yrs instead of 3.
All of you living in one hose is a disaster waiting to happen. I would listen to your parents seem they are thinking with their heads and not their heart.
Read the forums here many many couples started living with the USC family and almost all of them had issues.
Your fiance will be going through a major adjustment, add the extra ppl always around she may feel like she cannot be herself.
You could very well be the couple who has no issues, but what if you do? Are you willing to move out for you wife? Are you going to expect her to support you and your family on top of hers? Money is the root of all evil.
Why does mom thinks she would not be interested in you if the GC wasn't in the mix? You don't have to answer just look deep inside yourself to see if you're setting yourself up for failure.
If you want to see how much can go wrong look through posts in here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/127-effects-of-major-family-changes-on-immigration-benefits/

Sirdaniel42 reacted to Ortolan in I did something pretty stupid..
Every time you go through Customs and Immigration, keep it simple. Don't volunteer any info that isn't asked. Try to relax, and just tell the truth, and you'll be fine.

Sirdaniel42 reacted to Caryh in Appealing Denial Decision
The conventional wisdom is appealing the decision takes much longer and costs more than re-applying. You just need to over come the reason they denied you in the first place. Also an appeal can only succeed if you can prove the denial was improperly given. With you saying they'll just deny again if you re-apply, I have a feeling you know there is something wrong you didn't overcome in the original petition.

Sirdaniel42 got a reaction from Mariana M. in K1 Visa cost

Sirdaniel42 reacted to Harpa Timsah in AOS interview approved with 2 year conditional green card
It means it expires in 2 years instead of the normal 10, and there is a different procedure to renew, called Removal of Conditions (form I-751). There is a whole forum here dedicated to it. They want to recheck that you did not get married to evade the immigration laws of the US, and you will have to submit proof of a bona fide marriage again. But, it is not a big deal.
-
Sirdaniel42 reacted to Harpa Timsah in Filing aos/ead/ap - mother of goodness how many photos do I need?!?
I believe the person mentioning passport photos for the USC filed AOS from another visa than K-1. For AOS from K-1, just 6 photos of the immigrant.

Sirdaniel42 reacted to Lainie B in Filing aos/ead/ap - mother of goodness how many photos do I need?!?
None needed for the petitioner - just the applicant (beneficiary)
