She can file for new passport and new green card (form I-90). Of course, these will cost her filing fees.

Otherwise, she can only hope that police helps her to retrieve them back.

The gunman could have passed all the above requirements when buying guns.

After that, he could still become mental and commit mass shootings.

So should every gun owner be subjected to yearly mental health check?

There is seriously wrong in US with all the mass killings / shootings.

Sad part... nobody has really foolproof ideas to stop it.

lol... it is always Trump's / federal government faults.. Nothing to do local government leadership or lack of.

All the rescue relief works must be handed over on silver platter.

The Puerto Rico local government should also share the blame for being ill-prepared since the island has a long history with tropical storms.

Puerto Rican CEO: Local government 'corrupt' and 'totally inexperienced' in Maria cleanup
The head of an international engineering firm in Puerto Rico said in an editorial Saturday that when the time came to send 50 of his engineers to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, he bypassed local officials and went straight to FEMA.
The reason, said Jorge Rodriguez, the CEO of PACIV, in an editorial in the New York Post, is that “for the last 30 years, the Puerto Rican government has been completely inept at handling regular societal needs, so I just don’t see it functioning in a crisis like this one.”
“Even before the hurricane hit, water and power systems were already broken. And our $118 billion debt crisis is a result of government corruption and mismanagement.”
Puerto Ricans elected a new governor last November but, Rodriguez charged, he was inexperienced and had never been responsible for a budget.
Gov. Ricardo Rossello cannot exactly count on those around him either, Rodriguez asserted.

I also read that "Puerto Rico Trucking Union Refuses to ship goods until their demands are met."  The comments are all in Spanish, so I use the translation function to get bits and gist of other people comments.

To be honest, you don't really meet any of the points on the Expedite Criteria list provided by USCIS (https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria)

You might be able to argue for Severe Financial Loss, but usually this is in regards to a loss for the petitioner, and it would be tough to prove. Unfortunately your family troubles are of no concern to USCIS.

With that said, there is no harm in trying to ask for an expedite. The worst case would be that the request is denied, but from what we can tell through the VJ forums, being denied an expedite requested doesn't seem to harm or impact your timeline in anyway for the rest of the K1 petiton.

    Good luck.

So whose fault? Trump's fault again , for not sending drivers, trucks there as well?

I think the local government has a big part to play on how well prepare they are for the disaster.
    e.g.

If Puerto Rico is prone to hurricanes/storms, should not they be very well versed in disaster handling already?

Wow so many judgemental and nasty responses to the OP.  I'm not sure why the OP asking about how her ex-husband's obligation to pay her court ordered support will be affected should he file a petition for his new wife automatically makes her a scorned and bitter person.
She said he hasn't been paying. (where is all the judgement there?)  Writing a check is the easy part, being the single parent left alone to feed them every night, clothe them, take them to their activities, discipline them, miss work when they are sick and make sure they grow up to be productive members of society is the hard part.He is out of the country - its not like he is down the street and can help when one of them is sick.    I wonder how many times the ex has taken the kids with him on the trips with his new wife?    How dare people judge her for wanting him to support his children.  And as far as the spouse support - usually now days its awarded for a good reason - perhaps she has a health condition and can't work full time - either way she is carrying the burden everyday of being the full-time parent to those children while the ex is across the world and can't even send a check.   This doesn't make her greedy - it makes her responsible for her children's well being.  Telling her to just let it go and hope he will come back and have a great relationship with her kids someday.... i'm sure that is real helpful advice when she is trying to figure out how to pay for health care for her children.

Yes he will eventually need to move back to the US.

I'm going to guess your support won't change because he did not start paying more when he moved and kept it at the rate he was ordered too.
Unlike some other comments I don't believe you should give him a break on support.  5 yrs of spousal support I'll guess you earned it and if it's to continue you're darn right he should be paying it. The kids are his responsibility too and USCIS agrees with that. So until they are till 18 or if your court order states longer he must include it them in his household count.

He will have to claim them as part of his household.  I don't know if he needs to claim you also since he pays spousal support. So that would be him+new wife+# of kids = ? If he can sponsor her at 125% for that household size then he's good to go. If not he will need a cosponsor.

Here's my suggestion: Read up on the next process (NVC) and find out all the things you need to do during that process. See how many of them you can get ready to send (I don't know if you can do any of this online if you're from Ireland - you could from Canada but that's why you need to investigate.)

If your wife's I130 is approved while you're in the US, just keep taking the steps, and then (with luck) all she'll need to do is go back to Ireland to do her interview, pack up the rest of her stuff (that you'd wind up having shipped) and heading back to you.

You'd in an interesting and unusual position legally if this happened (which is still pretty unlikely) - AOS may technically possible and legal; you didn't enter the US with the intent to adjust status, but then your I-130 was approved and you changed your mind. However, AOS is more expensive and your wife can't work for several months while things are processing, so I think you're best off to just keep marching on the path to IR1

@N-o-l-a you have more patience than me, my MIL told her relatives that her congestive heart failure is deteriorating rapidly (after she had driven 8 hrs to get there)
Unfortunately for her she doesn't appreciate the power of the internet, her sister put a long post on FB about her poor sisters declining health (she's  physically in very good shape and has  nothing wrong with her hear!) Once I saw the post and had picked my jaw off the floor I replied to let everyone know her doctors report says she is in incredibly good condition for her age and that since she had her bypass 15 years ago her heart has been fine!

MIL is not talking to me 😁

USCIS could also schedule a 2nd Interview -> Stokes Interview which you both should be very well-prepared for.
You could use the search feature on VJ here to find out more about other people experiences.

Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe you will just get an approval notice instead!
