Ugh Nicole is another one that I cannot stand. She is bats#$@ crazy and the constant whining is ridiculous. She looks so unwashed and unkept. I yelled at the TV when she was rolling around on her unmade dirty sheets..."Girl get your lazy butt out of bed!!". I feel so bad for her daughter that I wish that child services would intervene and the fact that she keeps saying "Daddy's calling" drives me crazy.
 
They have some real doozies on this show but it makes for spectacular entertainment

I have a NEXUS card but I kept my maiden name because I didn't want the hassle of having to change everything over. I would wait until you have your GC with NEXUS. That way they can update the name change as well as your immigration status at the same time. You won't be able to change your immigration status for NEXUS until you receive your GC. If it is a conditional 2yr GC, you will then have to update NEXUS again once you are approved and receive your 10 yr GC and then again with Naturalization. When you do become Naturalized, you will have to get a new card that shows that you are now a citizen of the US. I tried to keep my old NEXUS pass but was informed by the officer at Whirlpool that I had to change it over.

So I finally had a chance to sit down and catch up on this episode. I truly despise Nicole and her antics. She reminded me of Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction "I don't like to be ignored Dan". Her screeching at Azan while Mae is sitting in the next room was disgusting. She is such an unfit mother.
 
Whenever Evelyn comes on, I start yelling at the tv. I cannot stand her!!! I don't see that relationship lasting at all.
 
Drunkie David is so gross and has bigger breast then I do. He looked like a beached whale. He's so gross and slovenly.

I thought the same thing about Evelyn's dad and I agree. Not watching Before the 90 Days though. Something about Evelyn really bothers me and not sure what it is.

Honestly if I had to do the whole process over again I would do the CR1 visa over the K1. I wish that I had educated myself more about the CR1 visa at the time but to me it seemed much more complicated and overwhelming.
When I went for my citizenship interview the IO jokingly said "Geesh you and your husband went the long way around this by doing the K1 visa". Hope that this sheds some light for you.

I am dual and am glad that i did it. I was able to vote in the election and am so happy that the only thing that I have to do now is reapply for my US passport in a few years. So happy that I don't have to renew my green card.

Oh I feel your pain. I lived in Toronto and my husband lived in Medina. It seemed like it took forever to go through the process. Don't be overwhelmed with what you have to do, just take it one step at a time and research the site. If I had to do it over again, I would have done the spousal visa instead of the K1 Visa. When I went in to the Buffalo office for my citizenship interview, the Immigration Officer told me that I took a longer route of path to citizenship by going the K1 route. Start researching the forums here on VJ as there is a ton of good advice. I also strongly suggest that you apply for a NEXUS card if you do not have one already. Those wait times at the NY border crossings (Erie/Niagara/Lewiston) can be brutally long. With a NEXUS pass you can just whip through Whirlpool bridge which is only for NEXUS card holders. It was a god send for me while I was going back and forth

When I was going through the whole immigration process and calling USCIS, I wouldn't select an option but just stayed on the line until the spanish customer service rep would answer. I call these CSR's lackeys because they cannot tell you any information about your case as they do not have access to the system. You have to be pushy and tell them that you want to speak with a tier 2 operator. DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. They will put you in a queue for a call back. This always worked for me and it got to the point when I would call, I wouldn't let the CSR give their spill. I would just tell them to transfer me to an IO as they would not be able to give me an update about my case.

I don't even know if they have live people that work there. Maybe it's only 1 robot and this robot doesn't answer the phone, considering the delay on the cases I wouldn't doubt that.
Good luck for you though. Take a day off work and spend on the phone, who knows, maybe you get lucky.

Can the 2 of you meet somewhere in Canada? He wouldn't need to get a passport if he was driving over the border but would need to obtain an enhanced drivers license to enter Canada. He could not use it for air travel though.
 
These are the requirements for US citizens for an enhanced license:
Proof of state residency. Depending on your state you will either need one or two documents of proof. Proof of U.S. citizenship. Proof of identity. In most cases, your current driver's license will suffice. A valid Social Security number.

What a small world. I loved living up there. I loved going to the Longo's at York Mills and Leslie as well as Whatta Bagel and Ikea. I miss shopping at Longo's and Ikea
