Even if we only get publicity then hopefully that pressure will result in change.  I've already contacted our local Senators and Congressman/woman.  Suggest people do the same.

A-OK here. You could pay your fee and check the scheduling. We are hearing some embassies have opened their calendars from June through August. It's going to be like "black Friday" once everyone hears that you can set up your interview dates. Your fee is good for a year so no need to worry about that part.

I'm expecting it to be a mad dash once everything opens. We'll do everything we can prior and just cross our fingers. There are some documents that we still can't get because offices are closed, so hopefully it won't take forever to get things firing on all cylinders again.

Well, we're still waiting for our package to get to NVC. It stinks that once it gets there, we still can't do anything but get the DS-160 completed. We need even more patience now but it's really hard since I can't even make plans to visit. Stay inside people! Let's try to get this ####### under control in the next month or so and get things going!

Technically yes, but considering that embassies and consulates are closed worldwide right now “soon” may be a relative concept. It really depends on when they’ll be operating again. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long!

With what is going on now, am not sure if I should be happy or not. Our I-129f was approved today

My mind is blown by this administration... If they block immigration, me and my fiancé are moving back to Europe. If God is for us, who can be against us?
 
And on that note... praying he doesn’t go ahead with the EO.

I’m in shock imagine waiting for your husband to be with you with all these stress going on, why he had to be focus on immigration now  what immigration had to do with all that as long all been test to be in the airline or mask just like we doing  at this moment. He is our president what can we do he made the law he change the law he can’t be here forever I am not happy at all  this is very sad plan B for me is to travel and wait when he reopen I miss my kids and my husband so much 

Every EO he signed had exceptions. This one will not be different. Lets wait and see who is exempted but do not be surprised if the whole thing does not happen.

No, please can you provide a link? I think that is utterly aggravating. There is a travel ban already. Why do there need to be additional restrictions for immigrants!?
 
 
 
 

I thought the executive order doesn’t need senate or congress approval? 
This is simply scapegoating but I’m afraid he could sign that as soon as they draft the order and whatever legal issues will be debated on thereafter and it’s gonna be one messy slow process. Absolutely childish move but not surprising from this administration.

Actually, I'm not panicking, I'm actually not surprised at the level of depravity this man is willing to go to. Thank goodness he doesn't band Americans from leaving as this is exactly what I planning on doing (depending on how restrictive the EO is), as I can't wait another year (beyond the 2+ already) or more to reunite with my family.

Of course not. If you think about it...the people who "legally" immigrate to the US already are some of the most healthiest people in America. Why? Because of all the medical checks, vaccinations and the scrutiny we have to go through (many, many Americans who are born here don't even get the broad level of vaccinations immigrants are subjected to --- many Ani-Vax people). Secondly, what jobs can he be protecting when there are "NO JOBS" -- no economy. If he made the argument that he was protecting further spread of COVID-19 into the country, that would be a different argument (although, with no time nor desire to discuss such things here, the merits of that argument is still baseless).

Does this mean he is also sending Melania back?
