I did some numbers on the F150 Lightning So based on my local Electricity price you can do about 12 miles for a dollar. The gas equivalent is maybe 5, one of the advantages is you lose no power with altitude and there is a lot of up and downs and you can regenerate on the down. I also know a lot of people with off grid systems, add a few panels and charge your vehicle, so free ish. I do not see the connection, say you are being paid $11 and you can work in Walmart and get $20, that would be a perfectly logical reason to move jobs. There is no regulation tying you to your Sponsor.

All the jobs I have seen have been minimum wage but there may be ones slightly over. It seems to be the deal is that you work for a year at minimum wage, not sure if the Employer gets a kick back, seems not, they get someone at minimum wage for a year with no spend.
