  1. @rubym2020 just got an RFE from the NVC with regards to the NZ Police check "Please replace this with an acceptable police certificate from a correct issuing authority. Please use our Document Finder at https://nvc.state.gov/find for acceptable documents guidelines." So I've done the following; Submit the Section 14 overseas form to the NZ police vetting service Submitted the following "documents" to the CEAC portal to replace the incorrect NZ Police check Covering letter explaining why I can't submit the NZ Police Vetting results (i.e. the NZ police will only send it to the US government) The completed Section 14 overseas form Evidence of submitting the form to the NZ police vetting service So fingers crossed, they're happy with that.
  2. I put information in pertaining to the "institutions" where I completed by A levels & GCSE's, and in the course of study I just put ACADEMIC. I didn't provide any supporting documents for my A levels & GCSE's. I should be getting my documents reviewed by the NVC this week, so will let you know if I had any issues.
  3. I'm currently at the NVC stage (my documents should be getting reviewed this week) and have submitted the NZ police check provided directly to me. So I'll let you know how I go with it. For reference, the Australian government accepted this police clearance for my Australian VISA refresh last year, but the US may be different........
  4. @maddie410 out of interest when did you get DQ’d? Just trying to get a grasp of timelines at the Sydney embassy
  5. I'm trying to work out a way we can get our case expedited, but not sure I'd be able to convince NVC we fall under any of their valid reasons for an expedite request. Which I guess in the long run/wider world is a good thing for us.
  6. @est11 I got exactly the same, have you had your documents reviewed by NVC yet? I uploaded all our I-864 documentation on 28th April, so should have our documents reviewed in the next 2 weeks by the NVC.
  7. @Immi896 I have the same happen to me when I check my status. What happened in the end for you? I assume it changed when your documents were reviewed?
  8. Just found this feed, submitted on the 28th April and should be having our documents reviewed in the next 1/2 weeks.
  9. Our documents are due to be reviewed by the NVC in the next 1-2 weeks, so will hopefully be DQ'd. @Mattttam just trying to play catch up on this feed, have you had any guidance from NVC about when they'll send your case through to the Sydney Consulate? Or is it the usual case of just wait & see? Trying to get a gauge on our timeline, but can't seem to find any real guidance on backlog/timeframes for CR1/IR1 interviews at the Sydney Consulate.
  10. We're currently at the NVC stage, but our documents are due to be reviewed in the next 1-2 weeks, I've been googling endlessly to find out how long we'll be waiting for an interview date at the Sydney Consulate after we've been DQ'd. Hoping some of you could help with the following; a) Is there a website that shows the wait time? (I know there is for non-immigrant visa interviews at the Sydney Consulate) b) How quickly have people been moving from the DQ stage to having an interview set up in Sydney? (Particularly since the consulate has reopened). c) Once we're DQ'd is it worthwhile ringing the Sydney Consulate greencard phone number to understand wait times? Or will they just give a stock standard response?
  11. I'm getting conflicting messages from the CEAC visa status check (https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==) and the CEAC submittal portal (https://ceac.state.gov/IV). The CEAC submittal portal is stating my DS-260, I-864 and associated supporting information is submitted, but the CEAC visa status check is asking me to send the NVC my I-864 info. Has anyone else had any similar issues? I've sent a public inquiry to NVC which will hopefully clear things up, just interested to know if I'm not alone in this.
