I doubt this will even come up or be a problem, but the birth certificate she will take to the interview will show her mother and fathers full name, so she can probably just show them this if it does come up.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Good luck 👍🏻

We applied in November 2020, got an RFE in May 2021, everything went to the NVC in January 2020. After that things started to move much faster. It took about 8 weeks to get to the embassy (Algeria). Then the additional paperwork and visa interview was June 5 (approved) But it took the embassy another 2 months to return his passport. In our communication with the embassy they continued to confirm he was approved, but that they were short staffed. My fiance finally arrived this weekend! During this time we had to work every day to ensure the process did not consume us and ruin everything we had worked so hard for. We read books together, watched movies together, had virtual date nights... Try and focus on you two and not constantly talking about the case. Too frustrating! Hang in there! It will eventually work out!

You are doing a whole lot of rationalizing on why to not list your criminal history. The question is straightforward - have you ever been arrested? The answer is yes, so answer yes, at least that's what I would do if I was in your situation. If you answer no, you run the risk of opening a can of worms, because USCIS does see expunged records.

Not trying to be mean or condescending, but English is my second language and I don’t know how else to say it, but if you can’t figure this basic question, then this is not a DIY for you (especially with your previous arrests). Good luck!
