Never mind, I got answer to my first question about the site link to check the case status - CEAC (state.gov) I would still like to know what this means if anyone heard or knows about it - "Currently, this case is in administrative processing while waiting for transfer to the U.S. Consulate General"

I got my case number through my local US Congressman's office. Can you send me the link to the website where I can see the status similar to above for my case number? I tried one link that is asking for invoice number, which I don't have. The email they forawrded to me from NVC says following: "The NVC was recently notified that the U.S. Consulate General in Mumbai, India will allow the NVC to send K1 petitions to the U.S. Consulate General. Currently, this case is in administrative processing while waiting for transfer to the U.S. Consulate General. Unfortunately, there is no timeframe for administrative processing to be completed. However, the NVC will send notification of transfer by email once the NVC has sent the case to the U.S. Consulate General." Does anyone know what this means "Currently, this case is in administrative processing while waiting for transfer to the U.S. Consulate General"? Thanks in advance.

I also had similar experience. 1. NVCResearch response on October 14 (email sent on October 11 for petition status): “The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition and will send detailed instructions to the petitioner, principal applicant, and attorney of record (if applicable) soon.” 2. AskNVC response on October 24 (Inquiry on September 19 for email address update): “The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems.” 3. AskNVC response on November 2 (Inquiry on October 6 for petition status): “Thank you for your inquiry. Our records do not show that we received your petition.” “If your petition was approved before the dates NVC is working on, please send us a scanned copy of your I-797 or I-171 Notice of Action - Approval Notice. You can attach it to an email and send it to nvcresearch@state.gov.” 4. NVCResearch response on November 7 (Email sent on November 2 with approved NOA2 and with two conflicting approved petition status email responses attached): “The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems. As soon as your case is in our systems, we will send a Welcome Letter and instructions. Then, if you still need help updating your case, you can contact us by using one of the methods listed on https://nvc.state.gov/ask.” You can send email to NVCResearch with approved NOA2 attached and ask again what’s going on.

NOA2 09/13/22. Sent email to NVCResearch@state.gov on Tuesday 10/11. Received response today: Dear Sir/Madam: The National Visa Center (NVC) has received your petition and will send detailed instructions to the petitioner, principal applicant, and attorney of record (if applicable) soon. To make sure your private information stays protected, send future inquiries and attachments using the Public Inquiry form only. You can find it at https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry. Remember, you must provide privacy information to receive case specific information. Please limit your inquiry to one case per submission. Finally got approved today after 448 days! Thanks to all on this group. Best wishes for speedy approval to all 2021 filers, especially everyone before me - I sincerely wish you all are approved soon. Thanks

439 days…still no response…waiting is very discouraging now It seems, they are averaging one application per day for my group 103000 now.

Which consulate in India did you process K1 visa? Our NOA1 date is June 24, 2021. Waiting for approval.
