  1. White mius are ALL crazy, conclude we man. P-Math error, si and see and C man!
  2. We definitely thought about this, si man. We'd even bought several Many-foot-long tables (on sale at Costco) awhile back, si man. However, the effort for the payback just isn't/wasn't there, sigh man. We remember our one GS from Many (2x2x2 +2+1) years ago, remember we man. We swore afterward that we would never run one again, swear we man. She's in so much joint-pain that she doesn't really want to, no and sigh man.
  3. I have it on accurate authority that Venezuelans here -- professional, business-owners, happily willing to assimilate, good entrants -- are self-deporting. Many are returning to Venezuela, to uncertain but ominous futures. On the bright side, Spain is accepting them with little visa hassle.
  4. Bidementia reportedly hadn't had a PSA test since 2014 (!!?). No excuse for that, and in fact it smacks of medical negligence or malpractice.
  5. I thought this, too. Look for it and merge threads?
  6. For the benefit of future readers in the same predicament, let us know what you end up with and how you did it!
  7. This has been a challenge for a long time. See the several other threads on that topic in this forum. Good luck, and be sure to report updates!
  8. When Mrs. T-B. got her conditional green card, I took her on a 4-day tour of several Mexican border cities. We hit 2 crossings per day, and spent overnights on the U.S. side. She didn't have to report any of these trips to USCIS later. Funny sidebar: When we went into Nuevo Laredo, we walked a few blocks beyond the main tourist area. We stopped in a restaurant at about 3:30 p.m. We were the only customers among several helpful waiters. Mrs. T-B. was asking them about menu items: "What's a chimichanga? What's a calzone?" The waiters explained, but I could see them becoming increasingly confused by the questioning. As one of them held the door open for me as we left, I mustered my entire Spanish vocabulary and said, "Mi esposa es una Ecuatoriana" ("my wife is Ecuadorian"). His eyebrows shot up and he exclaimed, "Ah, sí!" and rushed inside, presumably to tell his colleagues. I'd guessed correctly that they were confused why a fluent Spanish-speaker didn't know Mexican menu items.
  9. Karine Jean-Pierre Insists Joe Biden Is Cancer-Free WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following the shocking announcement that he was suffering from stage 4 prostate cancer, former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre insisted that Joe Biden was 100% cancer-free. Jean-Pierre assured the American people that the cancer-riddled former president had received a clean bill of health and that, despite Biden suffering from metastatic cancer, it in no way meant that he was suffering from metastatic cancer. "He is as fit, healthy, and free of cancer as I've ever seen him," she told reporters. [...] https://babylonbee.com/news/karine-jean-pierre-insists-joe-biden-is-cancer-free
  10. Come to think of it, there WERE national-security risks. Remember those months when Bidementia was a lame duck? It was really "all along." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Biden's Late Cancer Diagnosis Exposes Democrats And The Media As Legitimate National Security Risks Until Democrats start naming names and apologizing for their reckless, craven conduct as it relates to Joe Biden, I don't want to hear another word about Pete Hegseth's Signal chats. It was fine timing to get news over the weekend that the former president, a well established dotard, has an advanced and aggressive form of prostate cancer that has reached his bones. There's a strong likelihood that Biden was diagnosed with some stage of the disease before he was even elected president, and he almost certainly had it while in office. Yet the public knew nothing until Sunday. Prayers up for Biden, but this is an appalling scandal. And it comes just as the dying news media are finally acknowledging that, yeah, Biden's brain was rapidly browning over as he sat in the Oval Office, where he was losing track of space and time as the commander of the United States military, the point person for nuclear war. 11. Thread with replies is moved to the CR-1 Process forum, replacing an unanswered duplicate thread. Please avoid double-posting; instead "report" threads for potential moving.
  12. Thrilling Tuesday report, see man: Took Uncle T-B. to doctor, depressed and partially senile senior he man. Will have to take him back to the Wound Care center, completely incapable of compliance senior he man. Lunch was from Subway*, ingest we man. *WUOC + gift card, financially savvy we man The Subway store was out of steak, several customers turned on their heels and left man. Their toaster was hosed, no melted cheese for we man man. At least the first of these has no excuse, man. Mini-B. has agreed to stay with us from Wednesday through Tuesday, whee and glee man! Ex-Mrs.-T-B. and the Rojo will be in Cancun, vacate ex-she man with Rojo man. Mini-B. will spend noon Sat. through noon Sun. at the Rojo's casa, pool party man. Cousin and Cousinette Mini-B. will supervise during that time, in good hands wee man man. We have spent the evening readying the guest bathroom for Mini-B.'s takeover, fairly satisfied we man. We have had more difficulty with the guest-bedroom closet, random storage site man. Miu took great interest in the latter process, participatory miu man. We have filled a recycle bucket, a donation bag, and half a garbage bag, still not totally cleared man. We found 2 more hair-dryers, now we have our pick of at least half a Manyzen man. We found some old family memorabilia from when we were in graidskool, no time to study it man. Mini-B. takes after ex-Mrs.-T-B. in not giving a poop about tradition or history, very much unlike us man. We took our profile off the chica website, interesting (!!?) half-year experience man. We are not intensely interested in meeting anybody any longer, can't articulate exactly why man. This will make Mama T-B. go aysheep, Find a Wife So I Can Die senior she man. We will lunchdate on Wednesday with the FAJC, Far-Away Junior Chica man. She sounds serious and intelligent, so there's that man. She has also been quite persistent in wanting to meet us, so there's that man. If it's a nonnegative experience, at least there will be that man. She has agreed to lunch at Popeye's WUOC, score of Many,000 points for that man! Back to clean-closeting, dreary drudgery man. No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man. And that was/is our thrilling Tuesday, report we man.
  13. This is not the first such occurrence, and USCIS has seen this before. Sounds like the A.I. has it covered pretty well. I would make a visually obvious deal of the issue in your N-400 package, such as a colored internal cover-sheet in front of your statement and the letter of error. In addition, bring up this mistake first thing in your naturalization interview, right after the officer greets you. It's important that you volunteer it yourself, with intense sincerity. See the lawyer regardless if it makes you feel better, but I think you'll be OK. Others to whom this has actually happened will certainly weigh in here.
  14. Welcome to the forum! Your thread is moved from Off Topic to the "Moving to the US" forum, to be among similar threads. People will be along to help. Good luck to you and your mother.

  20. Great to hear. Eat this elephant one bite at a time!
  21. We need even more threads as helpful as this. --- Yet another idea is to find a real estate agent where you want to live. Some even specialize in rentals. However, I prefer other ideas presented above.
  22. Is there a better garden spot? How about also Adak, Alaska? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ US immigration authorities appear to have begun deporting migrants to South Sudan, attorneys say WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration appears to have begun deporting people from Myanmar and Vietnam to South Sudan despite a court order restricting removals to other countries, attorneys for the migrants said in court documents. Immigration authorities may have sent up to a dozen people from several countries to Africa, they told a judge. Those removals would violate a court order saying people must get a "meaningful opportunity" to argue that sending them to a country outside their homeland would threaten their safety, attorneys said. The apparent removal of one man from Myanmar was confirmed in an email from an immigration official in Texas, according to court documents. 23. Can our veterans comment on how significant this is? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ VA drops secondary review rule for community care medical appointments Veterans Affairs leaders on Monday announced plans to eliminate secondary reviews for patients seeking health care consults outside of the department's medical centers, a move that could dramatically speed up the time for booking those appointments. The move was mandated by Congress last fall as a way to simplify VA's community care procedures, which allow veterans to use taxpayer dollars to receive private medical care. About 40% of all medical appointments paid for by the department are conducted by private-sector doctors, a number that has risen steadily over the last decade. But some veterans advocates have expressed concerns that as more patients — and federal funding — leave the VA health care system, the changes could weaken the department's medical centers by leaving them with fewer resources. 24. Is yours on the list yet? Few, so far... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Walgreens Closing Stores in 13 States This Month. Here's the Full List If you think that companies are filing bankruptcy and closing stores at an alarming rate this year, you're not alone. So far, Joann has gone out of business, Rite Aid filed bankruptcy for the second time, and Big Lots has closed all but a couple hundred locations. Now we can add Walgreens to the list of closures. The company announced last year that it's planning to shutter 1,200 locations over the next three years, and some are happening this month. Here's what we know, and which locations are closing soon.
