My wife and I have suffered considerable delays. We have an RFE after interview. It looks like we won't make her medical expiration deadline. Does anyone have experience with this? We had to do sputum and culture already. It was negative. Looking for info on when she does medical again will she have to redo sputum testing and culture. We are in Manila and use St. Luke's Medical Center.
Hi all, Our CR1 case has been complete for a couple of a month and we have been waiting get an interview date for ages. 2 days ago, we got two notifications from NVC in our CEAC: (1) Appointment Cancellation Email that says " We previously notified you of the date and time of your immigrant visa interview at the U.S.Embassy/Consulate General in SINGAPORE, SING. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to cancel this interview. We will schedule a new interview appointment as soon as possible and notify you of the date and time. There is no need for you to take action at this time." The weird thing is that we NEVER got a notification for any interview being scheduled for us. (2) We got another notification soon after mentioning that our case has been documentarily qualified - which is the SAME message we got when our case got completed back in February. All our documents have been received and approved for ages. Why this mail again? Has this happened with anyone before? We changed our embassy location from Mumbai to Singapore on 3rd July - could this be because of that? Thoroughly confused. (2)
Hi, My fiance is from the Phillipines. She is still going through annulment there. However, her ex husband lives in the US as a citizen and is legally divorced from her here. When I file for fiance Visa is it enough to include her divorce decree from the US? It would be quicker than waiting for her annulment to finish in the Phillipines. From what I read, under US law divorce from US is enough to marry again once here--but not sure if good enough when for applying K-1 Visa. Thank in advance to replies. This is my first post here-it's a great resource!
