  1. Yes, we are no longer confined to ISB consulate. So applicants can contact different consulates to see if they can schedule their interviews. However, this option was only available previously to those who have dual nationality or residency permit in country other than their home country. I am not sure if the new update still requires the applicants to have residency permit in foreign country in order to request a change in consulate. More research is required on that.
  2. It was not me who originally posted this link. @RacD did it. More information needs to be attained on this from different consulates. There is this condition of residency permit, more clarity is needed on that.
  3. Intriguing. Would like to hear more about this. Specially the condition on residency permit in other countries.
  4. You guys might need to look into this update. Specially the last paragraph. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/update-on-worldwide-visa-operations.html
  5. We tried contacting our congressman as well. Its futile. Rarely ever worth it. Did nothing for our case.
  6. 17 months on average is the wait time for interview from DQ date currently.
  7. The wait time on average is 17 months from DQ date at ISB consulate.
  8. I see. Appreciate your feedback. However, you still did not answer my original question. Who to sent email to NVC or Consulate?
  9. After getting DQ'd, should the expedite email be sent to NVC or the respective consulate? Little confused over this. Would appreciate insight from senior members on this.
  10. None of these is required at the NVC stage. This is required at the USCIS and Consulate phase. Save yourself the time and effort. Just submit the financial and civil documents that are required.
  11. Any updates on IR1 interviews in ISB consulate? Have they covered Feb 2021?
  12. We added additional documents under Financial documents sometime after. not civil. That did not change the review date.
  13. Adding it under additional documents will not reset your time.
  14. Documents once submitted cannot be deleted. Submitting duplicates should not cause an issue IMO, but with NVC, you can never be too sure.
  15. That was my suggestion. Final decision is yours. All the best.
  16. They will ask again. Why risk it? Just upload and avoid a potential RFE.
  17. Proof of petitioner's citizenship is not required. We didn't upload it and got DQ'd.
  18. They will ask for 2021 taxes too. Upload W2s/1099 for 2020 and 2021 too.
  19. In addition to the tax transcripts, submit W2s/1099 for 2019, 2020 and 2021 also, in order to avoid an RFE.
  20. From what I know they require colored scans. Did you happen to re-submit a Black & White scan?
