I'm sorry to hear what you are going through. It is quite unfortunate. However, my advise to everyone who submits their documents to NVC is to do a thorough research beforehand about the required documents and additional documents that maybe required pertaining to their case. I am aware that NVC does not inform in advance as to what exact documents are required. Some of their instructions seem outdated to be honest. Just to give you an example: As per NVC's requirement/instructions, they require either an IRS transcript OR W2/1099 but not both. HOWEVER, evidences here on VJ showed that some people got an RFE requesting W2/1099 when they submitted Tax transcripts only. I did my research and came to find out that in our case even though the taxes were filed ''Married filing separately', it would be a good idea to submit W2/1099 too just in case (So that we can avoid an RFE). And that decision helped. Though as per NVC it was not required but we still submitted it. I wish you best of luck and pray that you get DQ'd asap!

DQ date is when you get documentarily qualified by NVC while priority date is the date when USCIS received your I130 application.

Yes, due to the closure of US embassy in Afghanistan. The load has now been shifted to the ISB consulate. As per one of the members above, they are working on Feb 2021. What's your DQ date?

I doubt if things will speed up. ISB consulate now has the workload of Afghanistan embassy too. They seem short-staffed.

Starting this thread for all those waiting for an interview at ISB consulate. Kindly post your DQ dates below and let's keep each other updated on the progress. Our DQ date is 25th May 2022.

There is an anecdotal evidence that adding documents under additional document tab does not reset the time.

To be on the safer end, I would suggest submitting the full affidavit along with the explanation note in the 'additional document' tab.

Do we need to update the I-864? or just take the one submitted to NVC?

We got DQ'd. However, the wait time to get an interview date is around 12-15 months at Islamabad consulate. My question is: what additional or updated financial documents would be required at the consulate phase (i.e at the interview)? Kindly list them all.
