My friend, try it. You don’t lose anything. Send to consulate not the NVC. The only approved expedited appointments for beneficiaries I’ve seen were for married couple which are technically family members unlike us k1’s are not considered family yet.

3 months ?? lol... I waited around 5 months pre-pandemic days. Way ahead of your self.

Visa statistics are out for November. Our embassy, Addis Ababa, issued 1,600 B1/B2s in the month of November but ZERO K1s, CR1s, etc. It's just super frustrating because when I ask them about visa processing they say it is limited due to covid. So.... people applying for business visas can't carry covid but fiances can? They've also made a statement to resume student visas soon, but no news on K1s. It is so sad how money talks, but not the families of Americans....

January will get better. Are you part of any Facebook group on Facebook? Atleast for my country, they’ve started to schedule appointments for people who had interviews in March/April. I hate Facebook but there’s been a lot of good information on there. Something along the lines of “russia consulate/embassy” I would try 

It gives me a sense of control to keep doing my own research and investigating what other's people cases are like and what they are going through, but I get anxious too specially when I'm swamped at work and just feel like quitting 😂 but it would be stupid to quit now with the pandemic and still having months of waiting ahead for the visa

The Moscow embassy, probably in addition to many others, still has not resumed any K1 interviews and the website still says they can't resume any routine services and don't know when they will. 
How long can they really stay like this? After nine months, wouldn't they be at least trying to open by now? How long can this go on? Just wondering, I know no one really knows, just looking for hope

On that note I have also seen people who are in the US being assigned interviews without expediting. I honestly believe these people more than I believe the press release on the Consulate website. Keep checking those facebook groups everyone ! 

Yeah. Perhaps I'm biased cause I'm in Mexico but what's the urgency for those who are not separated and waiting for their appt in the US? 
I have never been able to live with my husband 😥 other than a few couple's weeks visits here and there.
Is it maybe that they/you haven't been back in Mexico for years and are just waiting for the interview to do that? 

How about CR1visa do anyone knows if they even touching does? Ouuff- I hate this Administration it made our lives a living hell😡

Update for the March crew, 
I had my interview today in Montréal 🇨🇦 And I got that glorious pink paper and was approved today! Should get my passport back in 7-10 days and now my fiancé and I get to move to planning my move in January! 🥳

OP, I don’t think it works that way? NVC doesn’t approve expedited cases only the embassy/consulate. That is very interesting if true. 

It’s a myriad of problems, including staffing, covid, overall USCIS incompetence, etc. It’s easy to point at Trump based on his anti immigration stand and just solely blame him (and believe me I detest Trump), and the EOs have affected a lot of folks, but it’s a multi faceted issue.

i dont think Trump processes USCIS petitions. They are handled by employees at USCIS/DOS 

Make sure you blame him if you don't feel well.
