Hi everyone! Can anyone from Italy VJ’s recommend me a moving company? 
I have a bunch of boxes of all my stuff that I need to ship to my fiancé and before I start my online research I was curious if somebody else could help me with informations.

Its been almost one year since this thread was started and most of us here filed...alot has happened including Bans, Covid, elections....some have been privileged to have their petition approved while others even obtained the highly sorted K1 visa and are presently with their spouses....If there is someone here that has not been approved...I hope you get your approval soon...and those of us still waiting, I hope January 20th brings us new beginnings and finally we can be with our fiancé/fiancée.

WOOHOO!!!  Our case is on the way to the embassy in Ukraine!  Status has been updated to In-Transit/Ready!!!!!

Yes, they emailed my fiance and I yesterday.

You must be a resident of the country in which the embassy is located to interview at that location. Transferring case files can be as little as 30 days some stretch to 90 days. "your mileage may vary"

Keep your expectations in check. Move forward. Be flexible and you will get there. There are some who can schedule, some who have been interviewed recently and some in the past few days have been interviewed and issued their visa's. All is not doom and gloom.  Good luck and stay engaged. 

I agree in keeping expectations low since this is such a brutal and at times heart wrenching process... BUT... why would the state department put out this statement if something hadn’t changed? Seems like at least incremental progress! 

I beg to differ. The below information has never been in any updates from March - yesterday. This is a step in the right direction for everyone.
 
 
Montreal are now officially reviewing K1 visas again, as of yesterday. I count that as a win!

Any positive news for other K1 applicants is a step in the right direction. I hope all of our own embassies follow. All the best. 

Hey everyone! Congratulations to all the recent approvals! This visa process has been one of the most trying and frustrating journeys of my life. Delays after delays. Trying to get answers on K1 resumption’s but getting no information from embassies. Contacting congressman and representative everyday and still nothing. So much uncertainty!! I mean when will this nightmare end?!?!? I’ve had it with all things visa at this point, and I’m praying to see the light at the end of the tunnel shining through very soon. I needed to vent, sorry about that. I pray everyone is well and sane😊

Yes, someone will look at everything. Some submitted items they keep others are destroyed if not needed to properly adjudicate your application. The CO has already studied you case. They are trained to quickly go through items and vet what is needed to complete their decision. They are given 5 min to interview you. If all is fine, then she/he will approve you. If somewhere a RED flag was raised either at USCIS with background checks, application information or what not then it's the CO's duty to speak face to face to determine and answer the red flags. So, yes, their minds are made up before they interview you.

Got approved yesterday, 8/6, took 8 months. Was a nice surprise. 

OP, If you are into this sort of betrayal and lying, etc... Just grab anyone off of any online hook up site "Locally" skip the long distance and immigration. Honestly if your standards for your life are this low, you can literally just get into a relationship with any human being you've just met any where nearby you and get married with in a day or two to literally anyone you meet. Because in this situation you are on the fence about runs a higher risk in almost every conceivable way: health, Physical, emotional, mental, Financially, and anything else you can imagine, x 1,000 more than would marrying a complete stranger down the street from your house.
 
Yeah, she played you for a fool, it hurts, she lied and you extended trust it hurts, you want something out of this for all that you gave, but seriously. Just stop, there is nothing there, the character is not there and you are being lied to continually, any one who would do that is not someone for you guaranteed. Sorry you took a chance and this happened, but it doesn't matter if there is a chance for approval or not now. Just make a good choice for yourself and let it go, give it some time, re-asses what you want and need in a partner and maybe when you are over the pain, try again if that's your choice. Just my $0.02 (P.s. don't listen to the details anymore, or the sob story, or the I love you's or the but this, but that, etc.... the actions have already taken place, they speak volumes, just be glad you know before it is too late)

And you believe the bolded? It's more like she found out late that she's pregnant but couldn't terminate at that point. So the best thing was to cook up a story before you came to Russia that "she should be grateful about the pregnancy." Trust me, you and her will get pregnant again and it'll be termed "a miracle."
 
I bet you the initial plan was to hide it from you, not mention the kid anywhere, migrate to US then either:
 
1. divorce and go back to get the kid or on 25th Dec be like
2. "Hurray. I have a kid, you know. His name is Dimitri. That's your 2021 X-mass present, babe. "
 
However, they only came clean because somehow they may have found out those plans lead to a dead end if the child isn't mentioned NOW on the K-1 process. We've seen people who hid their kids and wives, married US citizens, then divorced to go bring the aforementioned. However, USCIS hits them with reality and they come on VJ asking how to remedy the situation.
 
I guarantee you that if the 2 plans mentioned above would work, you would have gone to Russia to find a well maintained 'gym' body. She would have silently given birth, given the kid to family or the guy for keeps and hit the gym ASAP before your arrival. You would have been so happy she maintained herself for you while you were away, not knowing the dirt behind the curtains.
 
First of all, how do you go around not using condom? This was not accidental. They knew what they were doing. 

We received our NOA2 today after 208 days of waiting. I wish everyone good luck who is still waiting. It’s been frustrating to wait so long for sure.
