IMO, wait until the I-130 is approved before obtaining the police certificate.  As Jorgedig already mentioned, an interview will need to be scheduled before it will be possible to have a medical exam.

Agreed because the COs at the embassy in Lagos can be unpredictable at times so the more evidence you have the better.

What would the resolve? It takes as long as it takes. Getting hung up over how long, is only self torture.

Whatever happens is at the discretion of the CO. They know what to ask and what not. Like i said in my earlier post, this person was interviewed at that Consulate and had EVERYTHING you can think of, both Primary and Secondary. I sat with him over a coffee and he showed me evidences. Still, CO decided to just call a third party affidavits to see if the story correlates.
 
What i'm trying to say in essence is, i have noticed how many people here tend to encourage folks to knock out affidavits since it's perceived weak. Rather, people should be encouraged to put everything that would help in there as you never just know what CO might just do or want to verify.
 
One is to be a paper instruction follower, the other is to be a realist to the trends of things happening. More-so, its a different strokes for different folks with Embassies. I urge anyone reading this, throw in that affidavit, ONLY a CO will determine what's weak or not.
 

That's the popular opinion which is becoming obsolete in recent times, so it's no more in our place to say affidavits holds little weight. In one of my groups, someone reported that the CO called his family who wrote affidavits asking questions about his relationship with timelines......He was approved the next day after that call. So, i won't call such document that literally decided someone's immigration fate of little value. Things are changing.
 
 

OP, you will run into different opinions on this topic and i assure you, each case is treated in its own uniqueness by an Adjudicator.
 
First, the most important evidence is the time spent together
Then, after that, the only thing i wouldn't throw into the list is the Bathroom sink!!! Every other thing goes there lol. 
Upload as many as relevant documents that you can lay your hands on into the petition. Do not let people tell you what pages of this, or numbers of pictures etc. It's better to do too much than do too little when it comes to the Lagos Embassy. The principle is Quantity goes on top of the list!
 
Since you've been together for 5 years, i will suggest an email from each month or one from every 2 months for the five years
 
some of the things to send are:
Flight Boarding passes-Time stamps on passport
Wedding pictures (You send according to your discretion)
Pictures with each other's families
Financial co-mingling(If there's any)
Insurance policies naming each person as primary beneficiaries
Call logs and chats, emails that span your entire relationship
gift receipts etc
affidavit of supports from close family who can vouch for your relationship
 

99% of petitioners are not required to do biometrics, and 99% of I-129 petitions are not adjudicated at the Vermont Service Center.   As a result, very few people here will have personally experienced that.
 
"with my last two ex-wives"....  have you petitioned lots of women?  That could be part of the issue here, but most petitions sent to Vermont are from petitioners with certain types of criminal history. 

USCIS very rarely ever requires a petitioner to submit biometrics.

It will void your eligibility for a K1 entirely. You should instead consider switching to spousal visa.

We sent our RFE on August 2nd and today we received an update saying they have received it and are reviewing it? Very weird but my husband's EAD card is being produced so that's good 😊

Those of us who are  K-1s or spouses of K-1s  consider ourselves to be in a special community.    😂 

Yes this is permitted.  Whether the school accepts the K-1 or charges in state tuition is up to the school.  

Send the entire divorce decree.  What did the RFE ask for?  A wise person would send EXACTLY what they requested.

You can try for expediate
Understand that having a baby or wanting to is not an immigration issue
 
you can travel to Ghana for the IVF
or freeze your eggs
 
Also there is no guarantee that a visa will be approved and issued fast / being originally from Nigeria and now in Ghana,  he could be in for a long AP 
so, go to Ghana

As a married couple, you have certain legal rights.  Immigration is not one of them.  A right to get to the US for IVF also does not exist.
 
Your spouse can be with you in your country, based on your country's visitation and immigration policies.  
 
Immigration is frustrating and, in my eyes, overly long to process.  But none of us have any "rights" above what the immigration laws allow.  

My wife and I have done everything so far with no attorney from K1 until November we will file for N400 for her citizenship. Save the cash and do it yourself.

We got it in the mail tonight. we never received a tracking number for it. i registered with USPS and signed up for the live tracking and i clicked on package and saw the tracking there. FYI

I didn't receive an actual notice it was waived, just card being produced and approved. Ill update when I get either another update or green card in hand.

It is critical to know when you entered the US on the K-1 visa in order to answer your question properly.  If it has been less than 90 days since you entered the US on the K-1, something may be possible.  If it is past the 90 days you were granted at entry, it is too late and you would have to start all over again.
 
IF you are still within the 90 days of Entry, you should immediately contact the embassy, explain the situation, and request that they reissue a K-1 visa.   They may do so, at their discretion, IF you meet all the following criteria: 
You are within the original 90 days of your K-1 entry. You and your fiance both still intend to and are free to marry (will need to document with new letters of intent). You have paid a new MRV fee and submitted a new DS-160. There is sufficient time left in your authorized 90 days for you to get the visa reissued, travel to the US, and get married -- all before the end of that original 90 days.  The marriage MUST be able to be accomplished prior to the expiration of the 90 day window authorized when you first used the K-1 visa.  If the consular officer believes that will not be possible, they will not reissue the visa.
