  1. This is the website you use for scheduling the interview. https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/SiteRegister?country=Nigeria&language=en_US
  2. It's normal for the biometrics notice to not list the advance parole petition, there's nothing to worry about. Even after my husband did biometrics the status for the advance parole didn't change even when it was approved. He recieved the combo EAD card.
  3. Hello, everyone just wanted to update that my husband's I-485 was approved, no interview. We live in Illinois and Chicago is our field office.
  4. I have heard that some F categories have gotten residency in other African countries that have shorter backlogs and transferred their cases.
  5. Last I saw F2A was still in early 2020 DQ around March/April 2020 DQ. @dwheels76 can confirm the exact month. *sorry not sure why my phone keeps making the text box so big*
  6. Go on Facebook and search for Nigeria America Immigrant Visa process. The group should pop up and you can request to join.
  7. There are groups on Facebook specifically for Nigerians and whenever IL are sent people post to let others know they recieved IL.
  8. Agreed because the COs at the embassy in Lagos can be unpredictable at times so the more evidence you have the better.
  9. I am referring to the greencard interview in the US. He already had his K1 interview in Nigeria and was approved.
  10. Today the customer service representative said our interview was waived on July 1st but our status has changed since we did biometrics. Our field office is Chicago.
  11. Hello, if USCIS informed you that your interview was waived how long did it take to recieve your greencard? We were informed our interview was waived and I am just trying to get an idea how long it takes to get approved. Thanks.
  12. Congratulations! Were you ever informed that your interview was waived prior to seeing your card is being produced?
  13. For ours we used financial loss because he had a pending job offer. We had to try a few times before the expedite was approved. You can also try to expedite the I-485 using financial loss as the reason, they will most likely deny the expedite request but it might help trigger them to approve the I-765.
  14. His question was specifically asking how to pay it from Nigeria.
  15. The poster is Nigerian that's why I said that because he can't pay it with a Nigerian card or account. Had the OP been from a different country I wouldn't have said so.
  16. There isn't a link to request expedite. Contact USCIS either via calling or chatting a live agent on Emma to request the expedite. Tell them your reason for requesting it and the customer service agent will give you a confirmation number and forward your request to USCIS. If USCIS requires evidence to support your request they will contact you. It's up to USCIS to approve the request, it's not guaranteed. We submitted a request 3 times before the expedite was finally approved.
  17. My husband recieved his EAD with advance parole endorsement on July 6th, 2022 and his I-131 status still says received too. We also were approved for expedite.
  18. There is a place inside that you can store it inside a locker for about 500 naira. But if you're staying at a nearby hotel you can just leave your phone at your hotel.
