@Peachez89 hey so I’m in the same boat as well I’m guessing Haiti? Is the embassy so I been waiting and waiting too my DQ is August 31 2019🥺 it’s sooo hard on distance and I miss my husband so much!!     I think 💭 it’s whatever taking place at the moment with their issues but I was told by lawyer that things should be back running smoothly 🙏🤞🏽 . So let’s hang in there and keep communication with our spouses it’s 🔑 

Hello friends, just received a text from USCIS and was hoping to hear that my case was also transferred and will be worked on. However the message said that my I130 was approved and NOA2 was on the way!!! My anniversary was last Sunday, could not have asked for more. Called my wife back in India and we both cried and smiled and now I'm out to office. Will be updating after NOA2 also. Just want to say thank you for all present in this community and staying positive and sharing their experiences. It really helped me stay calm for the last 12 months or so. I pray for everyone to have their loved ones near them very soon!

USCIS is currently moving cases left and right - I don't see that any of the processing times are actually reliable. My understanding is that in favor of timelines, the case load in all centers is being adjusted in an effort to align processing times across centers and make it one "e-processing" center rather than disconnected silos with entirely different processing times. What underlines my theory is, that recent transfers have not seen any notifications go out to the recipients. This leads me to assume that maybe at some point we won't know the center where the case is, because it simply doesn't matter.
Are current case processing times suffering from it? Possibly. We don't know this and we will never find out. Do we need to drive ourselves crazy over this? Well - that's a choice
After all we are seeing approvals for random PDs which clearly make it a moot point to look at the processing time of a center. And given the size of USCIS, we will have to allow for some time for the streamlining process to be completed. I'm confident at that point, we will see more accurate and helpful estimated processing times

So..... that expedite request I put in to get more info? Answered NONE of the questions I had but got approved??? What the heck???

USCIS error for being moved to Cali as USC. CLEARLY now that is not an error as so many more have reported moving, but at the time I was the only one reported transferred.
 
I also said I’ve been apart from my husband for 9 years so I want to believe that was the real reason they expedited lol

Our current congressional representative is on the short list as a potential pick for President Biden nomination. So they are on top of their businesses. I called this morning to find out what is going regarding the cased that were DQ but not getting interviewed. They informed me that there is a year wait backlogged and March 2019 is currently getting scheduled. With that said, any date prior to that should call their congressional representative.

Here is an update after I spoke to USCIS and inquired about my case.
 
Q: I received noa1 in Nov from TSC. Is Texas my service center?
A: It was but your case was transferred on 23 Feb to VSC.
Q: Why haven’t I received any notification on case transfer? My case status is still same since day1.
A: I have no idea but I see a transfer in my system.
Q: Why it was transferred ?
A: It was transferred to VSC in a bid to streamline processing.
Q: Will I be following VSC processing time or TSC processing time from my PD?
A: VSC
Q: Isn’t this transfer increased my processing time by double? Because VSC is 20months as compared to TSC 10months?
A: Both of the centers have received a lot of transfer cases and soon they will be updating their processing times.
Q: As per your answer I don’t see how these transfer in a bid to streamline processing especially if one transferred from fastest processing center to a slowest processing center.
A: I wish that I had an answer for you.
Q: Is there anything I can do or request to remain on TSC processing time?
A: Not at the moment. But we are streamlining our processes in order to improve efficiency.

At this point too many people have different stories of calling/ chatting etc.. so I’m not even going to bother finding out if ours has been transferred or not. In the end might result in the same delay. On a separate note, Haven’t seen any July approvals lately though.. 

The office that closed doesn’t effect us..

Oh 😳 what does that mean for us? I know that they permanently closed the office over there, so what happens next? I guess we just have to wait and see. Hopefully things pick up and keep going. 

They tried the same with me. I just started a new chat and got a different person and they told me immediately.

I tried with a second person, they told me "oh you'll have to give me time to find that out" the other person didn't care. Turns out I'm at Texas!!!! WoohOoo!!!

Sounds like that to me too, some agents just don't care to do any actual work at all and will say whatever they can to get you off their line so they don't have to actually look at anything, have had a couple of those on the phone too before our petition got approved. When one agent told me that there had been no update at all on my case and that we were still months before the processing time, and I told her "well the last agent we talked to a few days ago said it had been touched a couple weeks ago on [date].." she laughed! Jokes on her we were approved probably a week or two later  I think she really was just too lazy to check and just assumed!

You got my hopes up for a minute and then burnt them to a crisp 🤦‍♂️

I just called a friend who does immigration paperwork to find out if this is all was just us or across the board. He said during the shut down the system did stop for a few, however when the manifestation began over the lats months that really delay thing because all the consulates had to come back to state to wait for things to come down. As a result, it creates a long backlog. 
 
Haitians in Haiti, turning the country upside down are the reason for this.
