That’s how I’m reading it too. I just checked the legal references on USCIS and fiancés issued a k1 visa are are definitely categorized as a non-immigrant. And the EO itself states it is suspending aliens as immigrants. I’m hoping I have interpreted this correctly because I filed for an emergency k1 visa interview two days ago. 

Can a mod update the results on the 1st page so people don't have to read 100 pages looking for an answer.

I doubt it, a K1 going through AOS would be 5-7 months before they could work legally once they file AOS.
 

To update everyone, we took TBone's advice and she entered this morning in Fort Lauderdale no problem. Well, there was a problem because the Guayaquil Embassy lost our i-129f and she could't show it (but should show her email from them showing that they lost it). They eventually let her in. Thanks for all your advice everyone.
 
While it's great she made it - denial would have been a real disaster - it's still heartbreaking that she had to up and leave in these circumstances, unplanned. The original plan was for her to move in May, and travel the country to see people for the second half of April (or even all of April) after quitting her job. Then in early April we booked a one way for June 7, even if being able to leave her region of Ecuador was still likely impossible before then - it would allow for that chance, maybe, and would give her a date in advance to prepare so such a huge life changing move. But with the EO, our hand got forced here.
 
Her first two weeks here, she'll be totally quarantined and we'll have masks on when around each other. We'll eventually call the city clerk to marry us at his desk. He wears gloves, a mask, and a baseball cap to work. We'll have masks on. Strange times. I'm definitely bringing this local photographer who has been posting COVID pictures on social media.

I don't mean to say it's certainly not that, but the fact is we do not know the details of the EO yet. This may or may not be a petition for a circumstance that does not even apply.

Right, because he hasn't been separating families at all prior to now. I must conclude you haven't been following things too closely....
 
Every single travel ban, immigration change, border closure etc etc has caused separations between US citizens and non-citizen family members & relatives. 

This is only me personally.  I realize there are people all over the spectrum when it comes to his policy.
 
I following his policy pretty close and this is the first time I've seen the potential to separate US Citizen's from wives, husbands, and children.

Thanks for all the responses.  I do think what is best (vaccines overseas or in the states) will depend on a case by case and is not a ""no brainer"..not just around cost - for my case, my fiance will have to take a three day return journey to go get vaccinations in Bangkok - which is also expensive and means time from work.  In the US, this could be done in a few hours.
 
Follow-up question - some of these vaccines require two doses, especially for those with specific health conditions.  Do BOTH doses need to be completed before AOS, or just the first?

Call and ask how much they charge for transcibing the vaccines for a k1 visa.  some will say you need a full exam.. hang up and call another.
 
I spent 2 days calling and emailing to find the lowest cost civil surgeon near me.
 

This might help you decide where and how much you will spend. Shop wisely. Before you do anything find the sub-forum for the UK and ask others what they are doing.

Also, you will need receipts so the medical exam ppl can transpose them to the DS-3025 which is needed for the AOS. 
 
IN SUMMARY: You have two choices. First is to get your vaccinations done there in your country as they are usually are cheaper. Second is not to vaccinations but you will need them once you start your AOS submittal. At that time you will need to see a "civil surgeon" for them to either administer your vaccinations or to transpose them to the I-693 for your AOS package. CS will charge you anywhere from $75 - $250 for this service. Some will charge you more. So buyer beware. Either way you must have vaccinations to complete your AOS for the 2 year green card.
 
If you get a DS-3025 from the medical exam with all vaccinations complete then you use it for the AOS package and the I-693 isn't required.

"Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the Part 7. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1., 2., 4., and 7. of Form I-693."

Your focus seems to be saving money, certainly for me  the ones I had missing were free to get done, I assume she could get them done at relatively low cost compared to the US if she has to pay at all.
 
And they are done. You can file to adjust without another issue.
 
Otherwise you come to the US, have to find a Surgeon who will not overcharge, many seem to insist on doing the full medical and charge accordingly, travel to that Surgeon, get the paperwork done maybe recover some of the costs of the injections from your Insurer but have to pay the balance.

The vaccinations ARE optional.
 
And no, Insurance does not cover the medical,BUT insurance does cover the vaccines as long as its for "well being".
 
My wife was missing ALL vaccines and her son.  We wouldve been paying 500-700 for vaccines during her medical over seas.
 
We got them for free here, not a dime paid, and completed her i693 vaccine portions here for $120 total. (60 to transcibe the vaccines per each)
 
Transcribing Costs vary and its to search and call different civil surgeons that are allowed to fill and sign the i693.
 
My wife entered sept. 11th, we married sept. 20th, she was on my insurance by october 3rd.
