Jessandmargarito got a reaction from Ruly/Geri in I-751 September 2022 Filers
Good evening.
Filed 9/20 so will start following this thread.
received NOA 9/29 from MSC
Biometrics appt letter received today 10/8 and is scheduled for 10/20. The letter was sent from National Benefits Center.
Looks like we are in for a long wait at MSC.

Jessandmargarito got a reaction from wd250g in USCIS still approving I-130
I received my welcome email with case # the day after approval. For US citizen petitioner apps, I think it is pretty much immediately after the approval. No waiting anymore. Of course you still have to wait for them to review your docs.

I think I read something that they were considering expediting cases for medical professionals but I don’t know if that is still happening. Worth a shot.

FYI I don’t think the K3 app is attached to the i130 any longer. My K3 is still pending and is a paper app in Texas while my i130 was approved in California. The K3 was never denied like in the past. They also weirdly asked for evidence that I submitted the I130 even though I included it in the packet.
I would definitely send an inquiry about your Texas case.

Jessandmargarito reacted to onek in I864 and interview
I don’t think you need to take original I-864 or third person’s proof of citizenship. As long as you take a copy, it should be fine.
when they say to bring originals, it’s usually documents such passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate, etc.

Jessandmargarito got a reaction from Nitas_man in Is I-129F worth it?
In my opinion, I’d say don’t bother to submit one right now. It was useful to get a quicker approval when the petitions were being sent to a specific service center. Some locations, such as Nebraska, took over a year on average. People were seeing their i129f denied and then the i130 was approved within a few days of the denial since they were processed together. Since 2/23, and possibly before, the petitions seem to be sitting in an online pool and are dispersed to a service center when it is their turn in line.
I was originally sent to Texas but was transferred to California to be approved after about 7 months. I also filed the i129f and it stayed at Texas. My i130 was approved on April 7 and my i129f is still pending. They no longer appear to be processed together.

Thank you for sharing and congratulations on a swift approval! I’ve heard a a lot of people describe the automatic transfer to NVC.

Hi all. I’m a bit late to post but our petition was approved!!! The IOE petitions are moving immediately to NVC so no more long waits from approval to receipt of NVC case #.
PD Sept 6 2019 TSC
NOA2 April 7 2020 CSC
No RFE for i130 but received one for our i129f
Received NVC welcome email April 8 2020
We were originally at Texas but were transferred to California with the big group of petitions on Feb 23. Never received a notice of transfer but a tier 2 officer confirmed that we were transferred in March. We had a pending i129f that stayed in Texas. Interestingly, we received our welcome email from NVC before NOA2. California seems to be forgetting to do the final update because our petition still says pending review even though we already have our case number from NVC and have paid our fees. Our i129f also still shows pending and was never denied. Weird. Just happy that things are moving along.
For those of you who haven’t been approved yet, I don’t know that any of the processing times are accurate. Probably best to follow the Texas times. California timeline is definitely not accurate. Hopefully they will update with a general IOE processing time to avoid confusion in the future since the big online pool of petitions is probably what is occurring now.

Thank you for your reply! If it’s a denial letter, then your I-130 is probably going to be approved soon. Don’t worry. I don’t think the shadow in the passport should be a big issue. If anything, they’d probably just request a new photo. I hope you get your approval soon! And I hope they pick up the pace and start processing cases faster.

Do you have someone checking your name? Correspondence from USCIS will not be forwarded.
Complete a change of address to a family member's address may be a good idea.

Exactly! I haven’t seen anything since the September 17 update but it made me feel better knowing that they did something to my account. Was probably just scanning the 25 pages that show up with my file but still. It’s the little thing when you know you might be waiting a year for the process to be complete.

Hi! We have a similar timeline, but we got Nebraska 🙁.
I-130 PD - Aug 26, 2019
I-130 NOA1 - Sep 11, 2019
We saw a Sept 16 update on the uscis account, and thereafter a Sept 17 update. That’s the latest.

I understand what you mean. Originally my account said "In Process October 2" now it says "In Process October 15th". Even if that just means it moved desks, like you mentioned, it's kind of peace of mind to know they seem to actively be working on it. It's hard to be patient so even a slight date change seems nice to me.
