Hi all,

I wanted to start a topic about those of us who have been transferred to the California service centre.

I was originally assigned to Texas, with my husband filing on November 27th 2019. Case was transferred to California on Feb 23rd 2020 (I think quite a few were?) One more update on March 31st and nothing since.

Hopefully we can all share our cases to get a better idea of timelines!

It seems like for those of us that filed our case "online" some cases has been either transferred or approved randomly.  I filed my case online on the 6th of December (Texas Service Center) and the dates has changed several times 2/23, 4/8, 4/23 & 4/24. Still waiting on a decision though.

Wow, sounds like you’re due an approval soon with all those date changes! Fingers crossed for you, good luck! Were you transferred too?

Our petition got transferrd to CSC from Nebraska. We filied on 9 march 2020 and one week later were tranferred. Because USCIS is no help with processing time for USC filing for spouses I kept track of what I found out from talking with representatives and what people reported here and: On 26 march they were working on petitions from july 2019 and now people from november 2019 start to get approved. They seem to move pretty fast, fingers crossed by next month they will be processing january/february 2020.

Also, anyone has any idea about how many cases they transferrd to california?

We filed our petition on Nov 1, 2019 by post in Texas service centre. It was transferred to California on Feb 23. I have seen two date changes since the transfer; Mar 31 and Apr 23. Hope the approval is near.

Ahhhh we have the same date changes, but you’re a step ahead with the April 23rd change. Fingers crossed it means you’re actually being reviewed so due an approval soon. Please update us!😊

So it seems we all the same two date changes: Feb 23rd and March 31st. I asked whether I was transferred again on the 31st but was told no, still at CSC

Although, the last 3 cases were approved at CSC were October 2019 filler but CSC does not have processing time estimate for USC petitioner. However, it is showing 8-10.5 months estimated time range for permanent resident.

I am hoping they will process USC cases within same time range.

Hi all, we were transferred to California from Texas on 2/23 and were approved on 4/7. PD was 9/6. We saw several updates before approval so for those of you with a few updates since 2/23, you will probably see your approval soon too. Once you have approval, you will receive your NVC email possibly the same day. We actually found out that we were approved via the NVC email.

Good luck. Being transferred to California seems like a good thing.
