Moving abroad during wait for CR1 approval

My husband and I filed our I130 in September and we were assigned an IOE # at Texas Service Center. We are both pretty miserable being apart so I’ve decided to move down to Belize while we wait for our approval. I intend to keep my domicile in the US and have a job that allows me to work remotely for the next few months.

Since we are IOE, I am not sure if I need to update my mailing address for my petition or whether communications will be sent electronically. I still have all of my mail going to my US address and will keep as my domicile but may be gone for 6 or more months given the current processing times. Do I need to update my mailing address with USCIS in case we receive RFE or will this be electronic? I can probably change/forward my mail to a family member but am not sure if this is necessary for IOE.

Do you have someone checking your name?  Correspondence from USCIS will not be forwarded.

Complete a change of address to a family member's address may be a good idea.
