OP has an interview date for November. They only went to CEAC out of curiosity to see what it says and were wondering if ready is the appropriate status for this point in time.
  4. Thanks

For CR-1, there is nothing to "transfer".  The files on CEAC will be accessed by the embassy CO.

For a K-1, there is a "transfer" stage when the NVC sends the I-129F petition in a diplomatic package to the embassy.

Yes, Ready.  Near interview date, the "Case Last Updated" can refresh - indication they review your documents prior to interview.  In US Embassy Manila, we upload refreshed docs (if needed) before the interview (at least a week), to avoid getting 221G.

Don't expect any change.  Just follow the instructions and attend the interview.

your message (email or letter ) should have the case # , both names and both DOB's
and say "please keep my case orpen as we are DQ'd  July 9, 2021 and wait for embassy and NVC to schedule the interview"

send that same message once a month till in interview is scheduled and packet sent to embassy

Thank you so much. Is there a way for me to find this information or a website I can check to see where Lagos is in the Visa process?

I know that IR1/CR1 got ILs on Wednesday and Thursday of this past week. Several people received them that were DQ'd October and November 2020.

I was just trying to get an idea of how long the wait time is. And I know of others who have been dq AFTER March 2020 and received an interview date

    1) Some people have only submitted a driver's license and had it accepted. If I were in that situation, I would include more proof, but that's just me (and I haven't had to in our case).

You may find other examples of proof to use here:

    2) @payxibka is correct.

I did my birthday certificate as proof of domicile. Also, we only uploaded my bio page of my passport (page where your pic, name, etc...). Good luck....

Use the US address as the mailing address. I don't trust the mail system in Nigeria. There is provision for residential address which can be different from the mailing address.

Nothing gets mailed based on the i864 address

Why would there be a problem?  Historical earnings are a data point but not the threshold.  Current income is the key.

    Nanna_lux reacted to Eddy2019 in G-1145 Question
Don't worry about filling the form to send. We just filed online without  submitting G1145 but we only used the receipt number given to us by USCIS to monitor our case and when our case was approved, approval notice sent to the address provided while filling the form online and email also received from NVC via our subdivision online. So relax and use the receipt number to check your case status with USCIS case status. Hope this helps you

The list is good but don't get the police report from the country where you live until AFTER the petition is approved.  It's time sensitive.  The other documents are not.  Affidavits of support should also be done after petition approval, but the petitioner can get all the tax returns ready before hand.

You're the female and USC and can change your name at any point to your husband's last name
I didn't as it meant changing it too many places:
    driving license
    Passport
    bank
    IRS
mortgage (which meant refinancing and paying new closing costs)
    credit cards
    utilities
    car titles (3 for me)
    car loan
    SS card
just to name a few places so i only use his last name for facebook
