  1. Email nvc and request that your ds260 is reopened
  2. Email nvc and request that they reopen the ds260. If you don't have any changes just hit submit
  3. I think every country may be different. You might have to look at the timelines for your country to get an estimated time frame
  4. You are wrong. There is actually an expiration date for the DS-260. I uploaded a picture of mine AFTER I asked them to re-open it. It expires after 1 year
  5. How many days does it take for your passport to be ready for pickup after Visa has been issued?
  6. Yes he will need to update it. DS-260 expires after a year.
  7. Yes they started giving dates but it stopped in September. I think it's because they rescheduled interviews for October people to December. This could mean they will send out interviews letters this month for January interviews
  8. When were you dq'ed? The current wait time after being dq'ed is about 15 months
  9. Yes I can help you. Due to backlog, the wait time from dq to interview was 15 months. The last batch of interview letters were sent in September for everyone who was dq'ed in July 2021. They didn't send out any interview letters for spousal visas in October which now makes the wait time longer. If they send out letters at the end of this month, depending on how many they send out, you might hear something by April/May. It may be shorter and it may be longer
  10. I dont think you read my post correctly. I am NOT in que. I already received my interview letter in September. The interview is scheduled for this month.
  11. In September, we received our interview letter from NVC for November. However, I was under the impression that the case status should say "transit" and not "ready" especially this close to our interview date. Is it suppose to say ready? If not, when should it be expected to change?
  12. Can someone tell me what does this mean please: If your visa petition is currently processing at the National Visa Center, do not let more than one year pass without contacting NVC. If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact (by telephone, mail, or e-mail) with NVC, all submitted fees and documents expire. If this occurs, the fees must be paid again and documents must be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process. Is it ANY form of contact or contacting them specifically to let them know it's almost one year? I've been documentary qualified since July 9, 2021.
