I really do not know why People keep asking same question "When are the Consulates re-opening" etc.
Truth is, even these men who are immigration lawyers don't know! They don't have no idea, they're only doing all what they can to keep us all updated! People need to get that clear, I know it's sad and really frustrating though. I have my own case stuck at the Consulate Level since April 22nd 2020 awaiting interview at Lagos Consulate ...
I can't help but just chill and wait even though it breaks my heart...
I advice we all keep all hopes alive and have more patience, because as it stands now; it's only gonna take God's special grace for this whole immigration brouhaha to be a thing of the past!
PATIENCE THE KEY WORD...!
We will all prevail and reunite with our loved ones soon by God's grace.. I send my love to everyone out there waiting and also wish everyone waiting on the Embassies and Consulate to open up again Good luck. And don't forget, STAY SAFE...!!!
☺💝
Cheers!

Thanks very much, patience like i said is just the key word you know. In times like this, it's so sad that no one even know what to do next or who to contact.
But it is well anyways. . . .

I think this group might find this useful. It appears the State Department has set forth the blueprint for re-opening domestic and overseas facilities, which in the latter's case seems to be predicated on each country's conditions.
Looks like "full services resume" when a particular Embassy/facility reaches Phase III.
For what it's worth, we're in Spain and the Embassy has not replied our emails or phone calls (regular line) in over a month. They also have not picked up the emergency line for US Citizens the last 5 times we've called (intense, yeah). I would conclude there is no one physically present at the moment.
That being said, we also called London to see if other European embassies were opening and had a nice chat with an employee there. He confirmed that Embassy is indeed holding very few interviews (probably on an emergency basis- he indicated) but that they are waiting for the "green light" to fully resume operations.
Hope that helps.

We had them too, my son's was DS-260 Review Note and I got Case FE Review Note. We haven't uploaded our civil docs yet, it's almost as if NVC can't wait to review our cases 😉

Any job is a good job.
The more overqualified you are, the more you'll stand out in comparison with others, and the faster you'll advance through the ranks. During this time, opportunities that you hadn't thought of might present themselves. Keep the faith.

Guys this is just my theory on why those who filed on April get DQed first than those who submitted earlier.
Maybe the reason why those cases which were given NVC case # the very next day after NOA2 get DQed faster is maybe because those cases have transitioned to full electronic processing. Just like the IOEs with the USCIS. We've seen IOE cases that we're filed in Jan-Mar 2020 that got approved this month. They're so lucky and,
it's crazy how long we waited for our NOA2.
But that's just my theory. Anybody here who waited the usual 4-6 weeks for case # but DQed faster than the normal processing?

Enek and Alrock reacted to ACBHAI in All Nebraska I-130 Filers -- Part 6
Hello friends, just received a text from USCIS and was hoping to hear that my case was also transferred and will be worked on. However the message said that my I130 was approved and NOA2 was on the way!!! My anniversary was last Sunday, could not have asked for more. Called my wife back in India and we both cried and smiled and now I'm out to office. Will be updating after NOA2 also. Just want to say thank you for all present in this community and staying positive and sharing their experiences. It really helped me stay calm for the last 12 months or so. I pray for everyone to have their loved ones near them very soon!

It rubs me real wrong to see Potomac complain when their longest wait time is still shorter than Nebraska’s fastest processing time.
This group is for support and I’ve been here from the start, but simply because your case was sent to Potomac and mine was sent to Nebraska means that your cases deserve to be processed any faster than mine.
We just need to take a breath and a step back and see that one extra month really is not much longer in the grand scheme of things.

Got a reply from USCIS: "Currently, the NSC is processing most cases of this type within approximately 16 months from the Form I-130 receipt date."
We're not too far behind in terms of waiting. Been 355 days now since Mar 1, 2019.

Enek and Alrock reacted to LAY & ADR in I-130 July 2019 Filers
The reality is that immigration processes are becoming more and more uncertain with time. It's a bumpy ride , cause you either have a service center that takes forever to approve you , or an embassy that takes forever to give you an interview. Or someone who has both scenarios. It's a process. I started this process March 2018 , I was in the Nebraska Service Center at the beginning wait times were like they were now , and then out of nowhere they sped up and then obviously slowed down. NVC will forever be the fastest process ever even if they make you resend documents again and again it will be the fastest process you will encounter. And then your stuck with the Embassies who like the service centers are a Russian roulette. Personally us Cubans with the closure of our Embassy in Cuba knew we had a hard task to face. But I never expected it to be this bad in the Guyanese Embassy when it comes to wait times , and it's gotten worst sadly. Because we were talking a few months ago of a 6 month wait for Citizens for interviews , we are now facing a 14 month and increasing rapidly wait for an interview. What I am trying to say by personal experience is that you will always have a bump on the road in this process , it never crossed my mind once that it would be almost 2020 , two years later and my husband will still not be by my side. But it also surprises me that time does in fact pass by fast , it does not seem like it , when of course your far away from the love of your life , but time does go by. This wait time won't last forever. So even if you have a slow service center or a slow embassy or both , everything is going to be alright. We can do this. We can make it to the end.
