Thank you! I called USCIS call center and pushed the correct buttons until I got to the option to request expedited processing. I believe it comes after the automated system tells you the status of your case. I then only said I’d like to request expedited processing based on USCIS error because  my case was transferred from one service center to another and I never received notice that it was transferred. I thought it was a long shot but it worked! Good luck!

Hello friends, just received a text from USCIS and was hoping to hear that my case was also transferred and will be worked on. However the message said that my I130 was approved and NOA2 was on the way!!! My anniversary was last Sunday, could not have asked for more. Called my wife back in India and we both cried and smiled and now I'm out to office. Will be updating after NOA2 also. Just want to say thank you for all present in this community and staying positive and sharing their experiences. It really helped me stay calm for the last 12 months or so. I pray for everyone to have their loved ones near them very soon!

As to the statement she posted about not all service centers do not process  US citizen for spouse is not true. I spoke with someone who said they all process spousal visas. She apologized for someone giving out wrong info

Ok guys, I am a data scientist, currently unemployed USC since I moved back to the US. My forte is working with large data sets and finding specific trends/patterns to draw conclusions. This is not using Excel to look at graphs or anything like that. It is individally studying each of the parameters using different mathematical techniques to construct more helpful visualisations than just plotting the data. I know someone here was generating a spreadsheet of data. I am not sure if I am able to get this, but I am going to start picking data from VJ to create a program on Python. Just doing this to pass the time and until I get a job! Maybe even solve the big mystery on how service centres are being assigned🤪

Do you know how they determine which SC your case goes to now?

I don't think that is the case anymore.  I live in TX and mine was sent to Nebraska. 😖

I wish they would do something about Nebraska SC to reduce the time for everyone!

Your spouse should walk into that room with purpose come December 11.

I'm just talking about congress looking into why NSC takes so much longer in general than the other SC.  Not for them to look into the I-129F petition "flow"

Nebraska unfortunately.  It seems they are only expediting I-129F if your I-130 starts with LIN#

They‘re for sure going to review it ☺️ It‘s an actual process - not just to speed things up.
If you check the processing times, the I-129F takes about 7.5-9 months at NSC. So at some point during that timeframe we should be able to expect an answer - otherwise, if the date shown on the processing times list has past, you can call USCIS and ask them why it‘s taking longer that the average time.

My theory of the „Speeding things up“ thing is - now that I know that it doesn‘t seem to work for the IOE numbers - that they‘re trying to get rid of all paper based applications asap so that they only have the online petitions remaining - which is the new process. Should take them approx. 1 year (as that‘s they‘re current average processing time).
That‘s why they might have sped up the I-130’s who sent an I-129F as well, as the I-129F petition would create additional paperwork on top.

I filed the I-130 in May and it went to Nebraska. I filed the I-129f in Oct. 14th and it was mailed to Texas but a few days later was sent to Nebraska , I'm assuming because that is where the I-130 is at. They have had our petition now for almost 6 months and the I-129f for 35 days and I have only gotten the NOA1  for both cases. I have about 5 case tracker apps on my phone and they all day the same, case recieved. It is very frustrating to check these sites several times daily and nothing. Some peoples cases have moved along after sending the I-129f but most have not. I just wish the processing center in Nebraska could manage to process these cases faster. All we want is to be reunited with our spouse. My husband is sick and I just want him here to get medical treatment. We have spent so much money trying to keep 2 households up and me traveling back and forth. I pray all of us at the Nebraska SC start hearing news soon! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Right!  I would like to know how they determine which case gets submitted to what location?  Is it based upon the country of the immigrant, etc?

Asking you since you're at NVC stage. Is it possible to upload additional proof of ongoing relationship (tickets, boarding passes, pictures etc) at the NVC stage (via the CEAC website)?
  18. Thanks
MarcieYG reacted to Iscir in All Nebraska I-130 Filers -- Part 5
Yes, it is possible. On CEAC there is an option to upload “other documents” and that’s where you can upload additional evidence.

Technical answer: They use a suite of internal routing criteria designed to optimally distribute the load based on priorities of each SC.
Real answer: It's pretty much dumb luck. Their load-based balancing is not reliable. Edit: Except CSC - CSC handles family preference cases, not immediate relative ones.
There is a rumor that they avoid using an SC if you live right nearby in order to try to avoid potential conflicts of interest (somebody you know / somebody who knows you getting the case), but this is unconfirmed.

Supposedly, submitting an I-129F to the Nebraska Service Center after the I-130 submission helps to speed up the approval of the I-130. Although it seems, like no one who received an IOE case number (all I-130’s submitted since July 1st 2019) has had their I-129F denied and the I-130 approved yet.

So this forum is for everyone who filed an I-130 (since July 1st 2019), got assigned to the Nebraska Service center, received an IOE case number and then submitted an I-129F (K3).

    Please submit the date of
    - Your I-130 NOA1
    - Your I-129F NOA1

and keep us posted as soon as you get a progress on either one of the forms.
I’ll make a spreadsheet to see if there is a pattern.

Good luck to all of you!

I've never been so sick of dealing with anything in my whole life as I am dealing with this process. We are 16 months and 1 day in and no chance of her being here by Thanksgiving and very little chance of having her here by Christmas. I've already run the gamut of emotions and just at numb feeling now... I've been pissed beyond words, I've been sad, I've been pissed, I've felt helpless, I've been pissed. Now I don't really even know what to say at this point. I'm just so ready for it to be over. I haven't taken a day off work since June of 2018 because I've been saving them for her arrival. Now I have to burn it all the end of the year for nothing and then likely burn at least half of next years vacation Jan of 2020 when she does finally get to come here.
NVC seriously denied my documents 1st time the 1st time because my Affidavit of Support was a old version because they took so long to approve it they had a new version with an extra page. They denied it because I didn't randomly know this and put a BLANK sheet of paper at the end, nor did they give a specific reason why they denied it. I double checked and resent it because I tried calling for 9 days 38-45 times a day with no luck and got impatient. Got through a few days later and found out why it was denied but I can't fix it until they deny it again. They told me they would deny it. My congressman called and they also told him they would deny it so I could fix it. 3 weeks today after telling us both that they would and STILL not denied! Has me pissed all over again... My wife is taking it even worse than me. It really is taking years off our lives!
This post serves no purpose other than for me to vent...haha

Well, for a little purpose in this post...haha  What do you all do to deal with the stress of this #######?

Still no NOA1 yet for our i129f. They received the package on oktober 7th. (Track and trace). I hope we hear something soon.

I do have to say and ask that some negative comments like: oh no denies for the K3 anymore the miracle is over, and than an hour later oh sorry yes there are, can make me and maybe other people very nervous for nothing.
this is a long ride for some of us and we are all desperate for a fast approval. So untill your 100% sure, please don’t post any of the negative stuff. Keep it a happy place with positivity!

You can view my timeline, but my I-130 was approved a month after I submitted the I-129F. The I-29F was denied, which is fine but according to the USCIS... the processing time for the I-129F was faster than the processing time for the I-130. It did not cost me any additional fees to file the I-129F so I did it.
