Hey All!
Haha I guess I'm the last one 😅😅. Yup it took the full 5 months! But 5 months is better than 7, or yikes even 11 😢. Its been a long road but the journey doesn't stop yet.
I just got my NOA 2 approval alert via email and on the new site. Waiting to receive my letter to know what the next steps are. Time to check the other forum for NOA2 --> NVC. Peace ✌🏿

Not sure why the RFE took so long ,it was just a wrong passport photo size
Omg congrats!! Hahah I got an RFE for the same reason. They wanted new passport photos and they receieved mines on the July 25th. Hoping to get that approval soon!
Long wait for you but the wait is over thank God! On to the next step for you! Congrats again!

According to the tracking on my RFE, it arrived at the USCIS two days ago, but I still haven't gotten the receipt for it. Anyone know typically how long it takes to acknowledge it's received?
I mailed mines in on the 23rd and they got it on the 25th and notified me via new and old website case status alerts

I woke up today, and saw I had gotten an email alert from the OLD site. The USCIS Utility (app) and the USCIS APP were not updated, the NEW website was not updated either, only the OLD site was updated.
I was very thrilled because the turn around time seems to be quick for RFEs, many of you waited less than 3 weeks after turning in the additional information. I am just grateful my case was reviewed at this point, and that it was done so BEFORE the normal processing time of (September-October).
At this point I'm just hoping I can supply what they need in the RFE. That's the only thing making me nervous. But other than that THANK God to finally hear something! Lol

Woke up to this beautiful sight on the new website. I've been checking multiple times a day over the last couple weeks and it appeared today. Nothing in the app or on the old site. Haven't gotten the paper notice yet either. Fiance is here for another 3 weeks so he'll be extra busy when he goes back to Northern Ireland. So happy and relieved!
NOA1 4/4
NOA2 7/10
Awww congrats this is wonderful news for this week!! 😀🙌🏿🙌🏿

THANKS! I assumed I should rely solely on USCIS website and nothing else, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for clarifying.
I just started watching it. I truly liked season 1, season 2 not so much. It feels nice to know you're not alone in the struggle of waiting for your fiance. It's also interesting to see things from the perspective of people immigrating into USA and assimilating into the culture

It's going to happen. I think being on here and having a community of people that understand what we going through is very helpful. I can honestly say it has calmed my nerves alot.
While waiting I've been spending my time reading the other forums that may helpful information so that I can be knowledgeable about every step of the process. I also read other peoples questions because sometimes they maybe things I was thinking about and reading the forums that talk about how people felt once they moved to the US and struggles they may have had adjusting so that I try to have a plan of action just in case my fiancee feels that way. Studying helps keep your mind off of it a little .....it has worked for me.
This is the main reason I have been watching that show I know it will take time to adjust for sure and all of our fiances are leaving everything behind to be with us. It is a huge sacrifice for love. Thanks for the advice and continual encouragement. July is not over yet!

I did my timeline and saw this. But this is just an estimate right? I technically have nothing to worry about and don't need to call until after 7 months have passed (due to USCIS guidelines of processing times which is 5-7months) right?
NOA1 Recieved: 3/18/19
Country: Nigeria

@Sarge2155 @Juls801 @TennilleO @nosleep
Thank you all for your words of encouragement. Yes it's difficult but we have no choice but to be patient... This week has been slow indeed with no new approvals. I guess we will wait and see. In the meantime, I've been praying and just started watching 90 day fiance to make myself feel better 😄

My son opened the mail and took a picture and we were approved July 3. Thanks for all the support. This forum has really help curve some of the anxiety of this process.
March fliers we are back in action.
Omg I'm so jelly and happy for you at the same time! I'm praying for mines too. But yours gives me hope since it's the same country! Good to know the websites didnt update for you but you got it in the mail, what a pleasant surprise. Congrats!!! Please let me know how the rest of the process goes!

Congrats to the couples who got their NO2
Oh wow this is great information, thank you all for sharing. I wish my lawyer told me that I needed to be that thorough. I took lots of pictures of us and sent in my Jan 2019 itinery and sent the future itinery (---at the time of March filing) of June 2019 but I didn't think to include boarding passes, letters from family, or dates and places that the pictures were taken. I hope all pages of the text message conversations I sent in helped. However, all of the aforementioned probably would've been better, and more detailed... I pray and hope for July NOA2! Still nothing on the old site, nothing on the new site, nothing on the tracking app, and nothing in the mail.
USCIS received: March 18th
Country: Nigeria
Service Center: California
--- I think I will sign my posts like this every time haha

Yep I see April is processing faster. I'm March 18th so I'm not too far behind from all of you that had your NOA1 received on the 15th. It's a bit disheartening to keep waiting I definately still maintain my theory of certain countries processing faster lol. but I suppose we are all in the same boat and just want to be with our loved ones. It's almost July, but I have hope for us maybe next month or even this Friday will be the turning point in this process for us! Trying to be of good cheer! 🙂

It's a tad bit country dependent, but cases are mainly adjudicated in an individual basis. Basically, this stage is all about mainly background checks, just give it time. It's hard not to feel like everyone is already ahead of you in "the race" but really, this is no race, it's just a matter of extreme patience. Best of luck
You would do well in revising previous posts and threads which have already posted this time countless of times:
Old site (also the data source for all 'USCIS case tracker'
apps): https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.doNew : https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ (you have to create an account and add your
case # to it)@Greenbaum usually organizes posts or threads which contain a ton of information.
Sorry to ask tho it has been posted many times. All of this is new for me and it was hard to navigate all the threads through my phone. Thank you for reposting and thanks for the advice. I figured it was a little biased with countries. I assume Canada and Mexico will process quickly since they are right next door and UK since they are alleys just my 2 cents... trying to be patient and leaving it in God's hands.

I'm confused about the old and new website... which site is the old one and which one is the new one? Is the new one the same one where you can sign up for email and text notifications? Can someone please post the links?

Got my NOA 1 still waiting on NOA 2 filed on March 11th, the processing center received it in March 18th. I'm surprised to hear some of you March filers got your NOA2 already... for those of you that did what country was it for? I wonder if it's easier processing those countries than others?

@oflyingbunnyo : I actually live 22mins away from the border of Mexico (Arizona) hahaha so that actually a funny reference! Yes I agree with you it's a tough stage for sure. This stage still has its challenges because we're so much closer to the Visa but yet still SO FAR! Lol
Yea I'm budgeting 6wks at NVC but praying for less. I saw a sample P3 letter for the country being filed for. The police report and medical check up and interview locations are 7hrs drive away from my finance. Also each one has their own wait times so I know there is potential that it will be a while. I can only hope for the best. As it stands I don't even have a case number yet nor am I in the NVC system so my fiance and I are trying to be patient though we want to get a head start on things we just have to wait a bit more.
@nosleep YAAAAAAAY!!! CONGRATS!! WELCOME WELCOME!! HAPPY FOR YOU!
@Elif_and_Greg Don't despair!! Hang I there! It's on it's way soon. Keep remaining awesome * positive!
