Just got our letter that was mailed on the 1st. Biometrics scheduled for next week. That was quicker than i anticipated.

Yes, that's what i sent...

Can anyone help me figure out what i did wrong? AOS from a K1 Visa.....

the first picture is what i sent with my packet and the second is the letter i received back from USCIS 

I don't understand how you say you are almost ready to cry but then you cant "break it to your parents" that you would rather go to Australia instead of a vacation... Its your life and your decision... If i had the funds and time off from work i would have visited my fiancé as much as i could... Do what you need to do to be happy... 

I personally wouldn't resend the pictures back just yet... They may or may not be matched up with your application... I would wait to see if you get an RFE and send if they need it.... 

i asked this same question on here and was given the same answers... its all about risk for you, for me i knew that we would at least wait 2 months after his scheduled interview before he would come anyway so i didn't mind the risk... we got the visa and still have a month left...

FINALLY SHOWING ISSUED... THE FEELING IS SURREAL...

The internet was down which was the reason he had to go back for a second interview.... 

Aww i hope you find something that helps.. this is my worry bringing my fiancé from Benin, West Africa to ND, one of the coldest states in the US...

Our case was received on October 10 but not yet shipped. Lady on the phone said they dont hold on to K1 cases so it will be shipped to the embassy asap.

That's what they tell everyone... the cases don't show IN TRANSIT except for every other Tue/Wed....

Wow, i know this process is stressful but people worry entirely too much... If the doctor told you its not an issue than she should trust that... Its not an issue in the slightest.

that depends on your embassy... Go over to the regional threads... My embassy sent me Packet 3 via email once they received my case from the NVC, it took about a week... if am not mistaken Canada sends their packet in the actual mail but you would have to ask other Canadians to be sure. 

Each embassy is different so definitely call them or email them to get your next steps

I never received a letter from the NVC, just call them or email them.... I haven't heard that they are behind, things seem to be moving normally for most people...

We received our NOA2 in mid-July 2019 and are still waiting for our NVC number.  I have contacted the USCIS a couple of times regarding the status...  They are telling me it can take up to 90 days for our paperwork to move to the NVC.  Are other being told this?  Are others still waiting?

this is odd... you shouldn't be calling USCIS, you should be calling the NVC, there are many of us inlcluding myself that received the NOA2 in August and already have medial and interviews scheduled... call the nvc and get your case # and check your status online....

Call tomorrow. They’ll have it. They told me the exact same thing and my case # was done the next day. 

Also want to add that your friends husband having to work abroad is understandable and can be explained. You guys are choosing to live apart because your kids cant get along. Sounds like a scam. There’s No way they will believe you have a genuine marriage.

Bummer... from what i have read it is so hard to get a straight answer from anyone... How did the interview go, anything that sticks out? WHat were the documents they were asking for? But at this point don't expect much more... Get married and file for CR1

if you were not supposed to open it, it would be clearly marked DO NOT OPEN... they aren't trying to trick you... Open it and follow whatever instructions are inside.

Looks like the best times to book Cotonou to Fargo are between 60 and 28 days before.    Without any "tricks" even 14 days out I see one way fares at $938usd 

He'll be flying into JFK... and i have seen a ticket for about 400-500$... wheras everything else has been about 750-900$ i cannot pay 900$ for a ticket... i mean i could but i really really don't want to...

When you get the case number, it means your papers will be forwarded the the local Embassy on the next shipping date. Anyone who will get their case number before Oct 15th will be sent out on Oct 15. Case number is a good indication that you will be having your interview soon. 

 

In our country, once our status is "Case Ready" we can already schedule the medical and interview. 

This is not true... anyone who gets there case # assigned on or before Oct 9th will make the Oct 15th shipment
