For extra "insurance" you can get a (another) certified and notarized copy of your marriage certificate from your city and/or county clerk, then get your state's apostille on it. This will be legally recognized and useful for legal purposes in the person's native country. There are usually three steps to obtain this: A duplicate certificate is printed and then your city/county clerk affixes their certification stamp on it. Next, your county's notary desk notarizes the clerk's certification stamp. Finally, your state affixes their apostille.

For example, the following are: the back of a New York City marriage certificate with the city clerk's certification stamp; the New York County notary certificate for the city-certified copy; and the NY State apostille bonded to the certified and notarized marriage certificate...  (do not separate these!)

My wife traveled multiple times with her foreign passport with the name before marriage on it.  As @Lucky Cat stated, book the tickets in the name on the passport and keep a certified copy of the marriage certificate with you.  In at least 8 trips, I don’t believe my wife ever had any issues.

    Good Luck!

    1.  Book tickets in the name on the passport.
    2.  Carry a copy of the marriage certificate which can show the connect between the different names.

Many have traveled outside the US and back with AP. AP travel is very low risk. But you'll need "proof of a negative COVID-19 test or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19" on the way back: https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/fr-proof-negative-test.html

If you transit through the Schengen Area or UK, below are some tips: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/u-s-visa-and-travel-faqs/
If you travel, please follow the steps below:
Do not attempt to check in for your flight online if you have an ESTA registration. Arrive early for your flight. Carry as many original documents as you have available that you believe demonstrate why you have been excepted from a travel restriction, such as a Permanent Resident Card (commonly known as a Green Card), a marriage certificate, or a birth certificate. We are unable to provide guidance about your documents or whether copies will be considered sufficient as such questions are a matter for CBP when you travel. You may also wish to carry a printed copy of the Presidential Proclamation itself. Your status will be reviewed in consultation with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials. Please note that smaller airports may not have CBP officials on site. If applicable in your case, your ESTA will be reinstated in order to allow you to board.

Raluca&Will got a reaction from RLA in Driving license prior to greencard?
    Hi everyone.i have great news.
After another app that I had today (I found an empty spot last night ,lucky me), this time I brought my noa1 for aos and my app that I had for biometrics.
After they resent all the papers to dmv in Richmond I received an email after an hour that all my papers are ok and good to do the driving exam.
I am excited that the problem was solved.

    Thank you all for advices!

I just went through this with my wife in VA and finally after talking to so many DMV workers (over the span of 3 appointments) we decided to skip the real id and just go for the standard license/Learners.
They will send all your paperwork to Richmond to verify (takes anywhere from 15 minutes to a week I am told ours took 5 minutes the first time and an hour the second). I think they used her receipt of filling the i485, Social Security card, Passport and a medical bill.
My wife would travel anywhere inside the USA with a passport anyway so no point in dealing with jumping through the Real ID stuff which was causing the staff huge problems giving her the real id but no issue with a standard one.
That said it does have a one year expiration but hopefully she will have her GC by then anyway.

We have the same problem .first we tried at navy federal. And they want a US document (Even I showed them the ssn+marriage certificate)

Maybe you can try with the driving licence.

It's the time for the local field office to adjudicate the application. Generally this would be where you interview. Where file from doesn't matter (unless you move and it gets transferred, then it might add a little time).

Your screenshot shows 8.5-29 months. That means 8.5 months is the average (50% of cases adjudicated) timeframe. The 29 months is the 93rd percentile (93% of cases are adjudicated by then).

As long as you have a NOA1 from your AOS and are not leaving the US you should be fine. Just be sure to take a copy of your NOA1 and your MC with you.
