Hello! My ex-fiance and I's i129f was recently approved (i-797 NOA letter), but sadly she decided to end the relationship and stay in Japan. Anyways, I was wondering, as the petitioner, should I contact someone or is there something else I should do to officially end the visa process, or will it just expire due to not taking any further action? Thanks!

Does anyone know if we are allowed to travel internationally before and after getting the actual K1 VISA, and before entering the US? 

Technically, you do not need vaccinations prior to the K1, but the doctor at the medical exam may require some of them and refer your fiance to a clinic following the exam.  The vaccination records will be included in the medical paperwork that goes to the consulate.  If your fiance is going to interview and have her medical exam in Vietnam and go to Cho Ray, she must go to Quarantine Services if the doctor requires vaccinations .  They are much more expensive than the local clinics.  My wife and her two children were required to get 3, but one was not available, so the requirement was waived.  In Vietnam, expect to pay at lease 1-2 million vnd for each vaccination.  If I remember correctly, the Hep A/B combined vaccination cost 4 million vnd at Quarantine Services in Ho Chi Minh City.  I don't know anything about Polish health services, but if your fiance can get vaccinations for free in Poland, she can start now and bring the records with her to the K1 medical exam.
 
All the vaccinations will be required by AOS, though my wife and daughter were not asked for updated records.  Information on vaccination requirements can be found at  the USCIS website -

As you can see, there are a lot of vaccinations and several require 2 or 3 separate shots over 1, 3, 6, or more months.  Because he missed his follow-up dates for his second vaccinations, my stepson's U.S. doctor required him to receive all his vaccinations from the beginning.  We call him the "human pin cushion" because he has received 20 vaccinations since December and will need 3 more before the start of the school year to get him up to date.  Luckily, vaccinations are covered 100% by health insurance in the U.S. if you add your fiance/wife to your insurance after you are married.

and then report back in a year, and let us know if it was a good idea......

you are married. you file a CR1. anything else could be interpreted as immigration fraud.

It's been a week now and pixie dust has started to settle. Wanted to share with you all that I got engaged a week ago in NYC AND... little did I know my NOA2 arrived on 27th June! None of the sites updated yet, so long overdue! I had no idea I was approved until my fiance handed me the piece of paper, it was all part of the very romantic and planned proposal.
 
So what I want you all to take from this, is KEEP the faith! this was approved MUCH faster than I anticipated and sometimes good old fashioned paper is better relied upon than technology! I am sure there will be so many more to come soon!

I called today and after an hour on the phone I was told that on July 2nd I they requested for more evidence to be sent in. It was not updated anywhere and it has nearly been a week, I am trying to see if I can speak to a tier 2 officer to see why since there is no sign of a letter. At this point I'm not even upset about it more relieved. I just hope whatever I need i can get here or that it was a mistake I made on the application because I do not know anyone going or coming from the Dominican republic.

Time and time again yet another outrageous example of why not to use a lawyer. They really messed you up. What do they plan to do to fix it? Seems like a certified letter from your lawyer stating they made an error on your marital status would work. I would be furious and standing on my lawyer's desk.

we hired one too and her assistant completely forgot about our case and had it sit on her desk for over 4 months. 
we had everything ready November last year and i only found out about that on March. and when i asked when should i expect my NOA1 to arrive, she asked " what is that"
so if you asked me...  lawyers dont always know the best....
