Hello! 
i just got my appointment for March 22nd. I called on friday and they offered me that date. I am going for a follow up interview that was originally scheduled for march 31st 2020. 
My waver was approved last year at the end of January. 
does anyone here has experience with  follow up appointments? I got a letter last year saying I need a new medical exam, fill up the DS-260 and thats it. 
If you guys have any recommendations on a follow up appointment please let me know. I’ll really appreciate it :) 

New interviews (no expedite, no rescheduled) are now being scheduled for CC May 2019, for March 2021, for spouses and children of USC as far as I know

Thats how the consulate is functioning now. It's specified on the website under the Feb update.
 
Beginning in February, all applicants will also have two separate appearances at the Consulate spread over 1-2 business days.  These measures are to ensure the safety of visitors to the Consulate by maintaining strict social distancing, while also allowing for increased appointment capacity.  It is not possible to adjust or accelerate this process to accommodate travel plans.

Citados al consulado de cd juarez. There are 3 groups with similar names, you'll find repeated info since most people belong to all 3 groups.

12 months since DQ at Juarez Consulate, felt compelled to share this today, I've been MIA from these threads because I've got a long way to go (9 more months if I'm lucky)

Reach out to people waiting for visas in Bogotá consulate, they should be well aware of the time it took to process either visa in pre covid times, and they usually actively communicate with other people in the same boat.
 
The K1 is not being scheduled in my Consulate, so even if it's supposed to take a shorter time, if the visa category is not being scheduled then it might take longer, that's why it's important to check with people who went to Bogota Consulate or are waiting for interview in Bogota.

Hey there! yes it changed automatically. Our 2 year anniversary was on a Monday and I saw the category changed later in the afternoon. 
 
My husband had already heard from NVC representatives that these type of changes are applied on Monday afternoons.
I figured they have some kind of process or job that runs at that time that updates stuff (I'm in IT so that makes sense to me)

Hi All,
I have been MIA for a while, this journey had become too stressful 😐 But I'm happy to let you know that my husbands interview has been scheduled for January 20th at the US Embassy in Jordan. F2A category, named plaintiffs in YoungvTrump lawsuit and therefore not any longer subject to the ban 🙏
With Baghdad embassy closed (my husband is Iraqi), we were re-assigned to Abu Dhabi. However, UAE currently makes it super difficult to enter the country, as visit visas for many countries in that region have been suspended. We requested a transfer to Amman, and thank god (and the Consular Officers at the Embassy) got accepted under the condition that my husband needs to be physically in Jordan first. We arrived in Jordan on 12/26, and after almost 2 weeks of uncertainty and anxious waiting, our case got re-assigned and expedited to post. 5 days later we received IL for 10 days later. We are both exhausted and running out of energy, but hopeful that we can travel home together soon.

you were in line for your interview and the packet is there,  so go to interview and be thankful

They only asked for the original birth certificates (mine and my husband’s), marriage certificate and police records. We updated some documents and upload them in the CEAC before the interview, maybe that’s why they didn’t ask for taxes or anything else. The questions were pretty basic: how do we meet, where and when did we get married, is my husband a resident or citizen, where was he born, where does he work, how often do we see each other, have I been to USA, if I have a current visa, and that was it.  
 
About the measures @StarSeed1: you need to wear make all the time, they have gel and they practice social distancing. Also they are only performing a few interviews every day. I didn’t see a lot of people at the consulate, it basically looks empty. I count only 4 windows checking the documents and I would say less than 10 windows performing the interviews. I had the number 25 for immigrant visas (my appointment was at 8.30). i would say there was only 20 people waiting in the huge room at the time. It took me like 2 hours (mostly waiting).
 
I am back home and I will wait for my package here, I hope it arrives next week so I can get to US before January 26th.

Good news for us - despite still being pessimistic about getting rescheduled, we received an email on December 30th, with our emergency appointment scheduled for February 25th.
 
Not yet showing up in AIS portal to schedule our medical and biometric, but we have time to get it done. We called in and they said it would take a few days to update in their system. 

I'm sure your interview will go great and won't be cancelled, sending good vibes!!

@Juliet57 is correct, our interview took 11 months from our Case Closed. 
 
We booked the flights and hotel as soon as we got our new date. We are trying to look at the silver linings and working with the certainties that we have right now in order to avoid extra stress. 

Their case closed May 15th, 2019 and interview was April 19th, 2020 but cancelled because of covid

Hey guys! Mexico is finally moving and we got our interview reschedule for January 15th, 2021 🙂 
 

It gives me a sense of control to keep doing my own research and investigating what other's people cases are like and what they are going through, but I get anxious too specially when I'm swamped at work and just feel like quitting 😂 but it would be stupid to quit now with the pandemic and still having months of waiting ahead for the visa
