If your EAD expires before getting the new one, do you need to stop working while waiting the new card?

can’t believe the interview was in February and we are already in end of July..
Never thought this would happen to us since we know we should be one of those ”easy couples” without any crazy backgrounds or age differences.
We kinda gave up on waiting. It will happen when it happens.
Having a greencard would not change our life. We are able to work and live our lives. Only thing we can’t do is leave the country but that is okay.
So greencard or no, we are living happily together:)

Yeah😩 I contacted uscis throught the chat and she said it is still in normal processing time even it is after interview. They are doing July 2019 cases now… She said nothing she can do about it.
so what can we do? Just wait..

OP's recent interview was for Adjustment of Status inside of the US. The I-485 interview notice states that both must attend (unless USCIS PM allows otherwise).

Welcome!!!! Make sure you come back here and keep us updated along your journey :) Also we waited until we received Packet 3 before we scheduled our medical exam. The packet will contain all of the details in it that you will need. Will not take long to receive it as the embassy is quite quick in Finland. 

Send email to the embassy. They will send the package 3 to your email. Yes, you can book the medical already. 

It has been awhile now since I've dealt with the K-1 Visa, but I remember we waited to receive packet 3 from the embassy before we scheduled any appointments and what not. I'm not sure if you can schedule anything before you receive packet 3, so I hope someone else might also share their experience!  

Calling will not speed up the process, people are calling so they can get a case number so they can track online.  Mine was dated May 13 and I call once a week.  Being able to track online help with knowing when it was sent to the embassy thus allowing you to set up appointments, like the interview.  Some countries allow you to set that up with just a case number.
 
But yes they will eventually let you know.

Beneficiary, petitioner or lawyer if you have one. They need the petition reference number and be able to answer questions like names , birthdates etc

Look for May 2019 K1 NOA2 to NVC and once there find the downloadable PDF file from the first page first post in this thread. Its chalked full of tips, tricks and hacks. 

Thank you for your response  We were about to call USCIS, but today our case status finally updated to "Response received". Hope we all get our approvals soon!

I would call them, and ask to speak with tier 2. Because tier 1 will say to wait for 60 days and than call. It is usually up to officer that is reviewing your case if he or she wants to update the site. 

It took about 2 weeks for me to see an update. Waiting is the hardest part of the journey

We checked online and the old site says that they sent RFE this Monday. I’m actually excited cause this is better than not knowing anything at this point😅 How long it usually takes to get the letter and after sending what they are asking how long it takes them to respond? Sorry all the questions but would be nice to know other people experiences and start thinking how long this all is gonna take still☺️ Thank you!!
