Amen I believe it also. That's why I have loved this thread and maintained it for 9 years such positive people going through all manner of life and yet we have a common bond we are all hopelessly and wonderfully in love.
 
People are always blessed on this thread because the kindness they give out to others if nothing more as in listening seems we have been needing that much lately.

We were approved for an expedite last week and recieved an appointment letter today for the 23rd ❤️

Send Request to Expedite to NVCEXPEDITE@STATE.GOV stating your reason(s) and provide proof (if any) as attachment. NVC will forward your request to the consulate/embassy in question and get back to you with a decision whether approved/denied.

I never heard of this speed from NVC until now.
Hopefully everyone gets DQ'ed ASAP too! 

If you've tried the various methods mentioned in this thread without success I might just call them. Several people on here have said the staff at the NVC will read you your messages and that they likely are used to such requests because of the trouble accessing the messages online.

At this point, I think it's best to call NVC to check on case status and if they tell you to still wait, then you wait. Now a days, the NVC Welcome letter is taking a day to a couple of days to receive via email unless it's one of the old cases. You have nothing to lose should you call them...Please call NVC.

You may want to file married filing separately for now and as soon as it is accepted by the IRS, you'll be able to get the 2019 tax transcript online. Then, when spouse gets into the US, you could amend your 2019 taxes to married filing jointly (easily & not expensive btw) for a bigger refund since she'll have her ss# then. That's what I did.

Since they are clearly in the wrong, doesn't this situation qualify you for an expedited processing in this case? Look into this possibility because that may turn out to be in your favor! All the best!

The EZ form is no different than any other form they require.. it has 3 determining forctors for use.. if those 3 factors apply to you, then they shouldn’t be rejecting it provided you’ve completed it correctly and supplied the required information.. 
 
this isnt about which document is safer.. it’s about applying their rules for its use.. if a person is rejected for no known reason who believes they were instructed by DoS guidelines to use the form, they should challenge the outcome.. no one wants an additional 8 week review time added to their processing when the DoS clearly states what form should be used on their website.
