Question on that, did you print out your entire tax return or some of it? That seems like a rather excessive amount of physical evidence to bring and review, so if we can bring a smaller printout that would be awesome.

We personally did print everything out, but that’s because my partner likes to be over prepared. The officer did only look at the first page of each of the last 3 years tax returns to see both of our names. Like the other poster mentioned, can use a tax transcript as well. We did provide the tax transcript, which she looked at in addition to the actual tax returns. She looked at the car insurance we provided and health insurance.

What docs are you planning to bring to the interview? does interview notice specifies any list to bring ?

We just had our interview. Bring copies of everything you submitted online/with you application. the officer looked at the documents we submitted online next to the physical copies we brought and compared. Not sure if it’s like that with everyone, but that was our experience

Congratulations! Did they ask a lot of questions or was it pretty uneventful?

Honestly pretty uneventful. Once we got in the room they asked each of us for the others full name and date of birth. Asked for a copy of my wife’s receipt notice/extension from I751 so she (the agent) could get the case number.  Then looked over the i751 quickly. Asked my spouse the civics questions, reviewed travel dates and edited one trip because we input it incorrectly. My wife and i don’t have shared bank accounts, so they verified we filed taxes together and that we had the same health insurance/car insurance. Handed us the paper that said she’s approved the n400, but our file hasn’t changed online because they are waiting for a copy of the i751 from LIN. She said once they get the case (2-3 business days) then they will mail out the oath ceremony date.

Oh wow , Do you think they lost your biometrics , which service center ? Looking at your time line , you get the K1 visa pretty fast , and AOS just 3 months ! Very fast !

We were wondering the same thing for the same reason. everything else has been very quick for us, so hoping this little ‘bump’ moves quickly as well!

Ah ! that really good to know ! I didn't know they open the lock box same day every day ! thought that take time ! so I previously always sent overnight through FedEx  timed at 10:30 AM delivery  .. I am just one state over for this one ..I am in Utah sending for Phoenix AZ  .. Whats going with FedEx now days ? could you also elaborate on the Cashier Check , how to be done please ? USPS walking distance from me .. and actually I have FedEx employees renting a unit from me lol .. I had bad experience with USPS close to me, they always mess up the address and mix it up .

    U.S. Postal Service (USPS):

    USCIS
    Attn: I-751
    P.O. Box 21200
    Phoenix, AZ 85036-1200

    FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries:

    USCIS
    Attn: I-751 (Box 21200)
    1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S
    Suite 100
    Phoenix, AZ 85034-4850

I’m from Ohio and we are having huge delays with anything fedex, sometimes upwards of a week.. so i personally didn’t want to risk anything. As far as the money order, you go to the post office and purchase it like you would from anywhere else. What I like about USPS is that they are traceable and if it were to get lost somehow, you are able to easily get your money back.

Nice ! did you send it for the overnight deliveries address or to the lockbox address ?

USPS alot cheaper than Fedex ,however I want to make sure , not to send it to the lockbox ?!!

hey! this is where i sent it:

    USCIS
    Attn: I-751
    P.O. Box 21200
    Phoenix, AZ 85036-1200

with all of the delays fedex is having recently, would definitely recommend USPS. I also did a money order through USPS so they didnt have to wait for a check to clear.
