@Talk2me Did USCIS specifically say ID showing same address ? Or did they say provide evidence both of you live at same address? If's the latter, then I think you should have more options.

I called on Dec 27th and they told me they received the case the day before. On Jan 2nd they sent an email to my fiance with the case number.

My fiancée just got a hold of them and our case has been received!
I checked the status on https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx and got the following message in the picture below. The officer said that the case was being prepared to be sent though.
So I guess I'm right to assume that the talk about "various fees" and "six steps" is an automatic message destined to the general public?

No emails. And in my excitement I forgot to ask them the date they received the packet and to update my email to them. Ill call back tonight.

Can you update your timeline and signature? It helps those of us who track other's timelines to help guestimate our own.
I called this morning (my NOA date is 1 day after yours) and they didn't have mine yet, so maybe Monday will be my lucky day!

Got my NVC case number today. They didn't have it yesterday so I assume the packet arrived yesterday and it was processed today.

My attorney said I need to file an I-130 after we get married along with the I-485 to adjust status... is this true? Seems like a double fee for no reason.
