May I get a sample of the EAD expedite letter request please ? also how do you send it ? is it a fax number ? mail or e.mail please ?

My wife got a job offer , and her EAD needed , What also I should send with the letter please ?

    Thank you in advance .

Asking the same thing three different times doesn't really help.

A three second google search would give you instructions

Great! Make sure to shop around. According to the I-693 instructions, you'd only need to have the civil surgeon complete your vaccinations and document that they were completed on the I-693. Some of them might claim you'd need to do the medical exam as well (and pay more for it, of course), but that is not actually needed as long as you're applying for AOS within one year of your K1 medical exam. Don't let them rip you off!

Hi all, I am reading and am very confused.  Can someone please clarify for me.

My wife had a medical exam before entry in the US.  The exam was performed in January.  I have read two perspectives and it is confusing me.  First, the AOS package must be filed within 60 days of the wet signature on the medical exam.  If the AOS is submitted outside of 60 days, it is no longer valid.  Second, the Medical Exam is valid for 1 year.

Which is technically correct?  Thank you in advance.

The OP, who is the USC, is currently living in China. When the USC lives abroad during the process, it is required to also submit "proof of intent to re-establish domicile." That is in addition to the Affidavit of Support, which is clearly also required. So, basically there is just an extra step for petitioners who live abroad.

    My apologies.

I read that Guangzhou sometimes requires extra documentation to prove that the petitioner intends to live in the US. I haven't gotten packet 3 yet but I am gathering everything I can to prove this. My license has expired, I haven't voted (oops) since I was 18 and I have been abroad for 8 years (visiting the US twice).

    1. Tax returns from 2016 and affidavit explaining that my salary was too low to pay the other years.

    2. Price quote from shipping container company ( to move from China to US)

    3. Screenshots of completed job applications and two offers to interview (but no job offers because I can't go interview in person :( )

    4. Rental agreement between friend and myself (unsigned) to sublease a floor in her house

    5. Completed form for driver's licence (I have to get a new one because it is really too expired)

    6. Proof that I've been paying my student loans

    7. Contract from storage unit (but it is in another state)

    8. Car insurance quote

    9. Car purchase quote

Is there anything I'm missing? Would this be okay?

    Thanks so much.

I think you are overthinking this.  My fiance has an interview in 12 hours.  We didn't prepare anything similar to items 2-9, nor were we requested to in our P3.  You will need Affidavit of Support items such as what is listed below.  Mileage may vary.

Affidavit of Support supporting documents are:

    A. For Employed:

    1) Copy of your 3 most recent tax returns (2015 2016 2017)

    2) Copy of your W2's for each year (2015 2016 2017)

    3) 5-6 of MONTHS of your most recent pay stubs

    4) Letter from your Employer (stating your position held, salary rate, if permanent or temporary)

    5) You can also include copies of your bank account statements (esp if you are self-employed)

FWIW, there's now a greater percentage of May filer timelines with a NOA2 date filled in than April (and June's coming up on that level pretty fast).

I kind of wonder if any of the earliest approvals from our group have had interviews yet, or even made it stateside already.

We're at 245/343 timelines with an NOA2 (71.4%), and another 9 (2.6%) with an RFE that hasn't been acted on.

D&A, my interview is scheduled for the 24th.  I think some people from our group are already approved.  I was a mid may NOA1.

I do not believe petitions are transferred to the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou by DHL, and maybe not on the same every-2-weeks schedule.  I watched the DHL tracker closely, but never once did I see a single shipment from the NVC to China.  Shipments were going out everywhere else, but nothing has showed up on DHL for China at all.

If you leave the country blank on the DHL search tool, you can see all the shipments.  This will give you a decent idea that the search variables are entered correctly, and that DHL has the packages entered into their system.

My status changed to "In Transit" a couple days after the bulk shipment, then changed to "Ready" a few days later.

We're still waiting <lies>patiently</lies> for the P3, which the beneficiary should receive via EMS.

Thank you for this.  My status randomly changed to Ready!!  Also, my fiance joined your wechat group.  Thank you for that.

  7. Hi,

I apologize if this was covered but I did not see it.  I am fact checking a little bit.  Basically, I was told that that you should wait to fill out the DS-160 until you receive your P3.  My case is at the NVC with a case #, hopefully next shipment.  The reasoning was that the DS-160 is only good for 30 days. Google seems to confirm this.

So for now, I will mail my fiancee my affadavit of support and wait till the P3 arrives to input the DS-160.  I have a copy saved with all entries filled out already.  It seems like scheduling an interview correlates with the P3 letter as well.  Can anyone confirm?  Thanks in advance.  Actually ignore this

Thanks God that we just got our NVC number today.

I asked the staff if we can request a transfer for interview location. She said we need to submit the public inquiry form via asknvc, and I submitted it.

The thing is they review inquiries in order. That’s why I have to wait for the reply. I don’t know if they will send my case to the Consulate before review my inquiry form? Is anyone here have same issue?

    Thank you!

Don't forget to update your timeline.  It helps the rest of us.
