I think what the OP is meaning by "freaking out" is "scared as can be!!".
I was exactly the same way. I was SO nervous, it could be classed as "freaking out".
Some people (mostly meaning ME) never feel prepared, no matter how much studying we do, or preparation.

OP, no need to get so stressed. Study, the civics. Download the app and quiz yourself each day. Have someone help you by asking you questions at random.
    You'll be fine.

Another update to my case today, now it says something about the fingerprints being applied, therefore, I’ll let you guys know when it says “card being produced” which is about to happen any time now because processing times for EAC (Vermont) are becoming due now and if it was transferred to a new jurisdiction with a better workload, we’re getting approved soon✨ I’ll keep y’all posted✨

First off, trying to conceal info from USCIS would NOT help your husband, so get that idea out of your mind.

Your spouse can complete ROC without you with a divorce waiver. USCIS understands that marriages can be entered in good faith and still fail.

If you truly want to help him, file for divorce ASAP and get the process over with as quickly as possible so he can proceed with the divorce waiver with no issues or hiccups. Having the divorce decree in hand makes it easier.

You can also help him by making sure he has every ounce of evidence he needs that your marriage was legitimate up until you separated from each other.

I’ve had a tourist visa since birth so as soon as I became of age, I’ve known how it works without a paragraph I didn’t even read, should have tagged the person asking maybe? If you ever held a tourist visa for 30 years and 10 of those years as a sensible adult, please share your actual experience staying the entire time given by cbp and also renewing and expired visa right after, I think that would be a great experience to share for when people look for these types of experiences they can find these answers. Thanks.

She should leave today if possible and renew that visa immediately. When I was a tourist I would never let my visa expire or travel on a visa that was about to expire. Also, it is nit recommended to stay the entire time the IO stamps you for cause it could raise red flags next time she comes in. Good luck friend 👍🏽 🍀

You don’t seem to understand the difference between visa expiry and authorized stay, the same issue OP had. Suggest you read through the thread.

Also explained in Dept of state pages here. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/visa-expiration-date.html included in the explanation it says (and they bold it to emphasize it) You cannot use the visa expiration date in determining or referring to your permitted length of stay in the United States.
They also specifically note you can enter literally on the day the visa expires, so obviously that is not an issue, they don’t expect you to leave the same day again because it’s expiring lol
can be used from the date it is issued until the date it expires to travel to the U.S. port-of-entry
Additionally, the visa expiration date shown on your visa does not reflect how long you are authorized to stay within the United States. Entry and the length of authorized stay within the United States are determined by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer at the port-of-entry each time you travel.

From what I’ve seen, most people that had AOS interviews got their i751 approved without another interview, i got bio waved for both i751 and n400, I did upload a letter on my n400 with my i751 case info and requesting a combo interview, so hopefully that will happen soon 🙏🏽

She's not getting deported. She needs to relax.

She needs to update her ROC and send in an updated I-751 with widow option checked. In it, she needs to supply the death certificate too.

    Part 3, 1C of I-751.

    Send it in ASAP.

And attach the receipt number of her current I-751 so that USCIS matches the file.
