  1. Congratulation , Mine is over 10 months since i360 approval and they have not even asked for medical yet, not only that they have not yet sent it to local office. This is really making me anxious.
  2. Thank you, but mine is not even at local office yet.
  3. hello Family, Its been almost 10 months since my vawa got approved and since then no update on my i-485, I tried reaching out to Congressperson but of no help only response i got is some cases take time. Is this usual, and what should I do, I am getting anxious hearing nothing about it.
  4. Hello, how long after your 360 approval did thy ask for medical?
  5. Please check your email that it is not hacked, what do you think how She got your lawyers number or if there is someone who can provide these details to her. I am not sure if police is going to do anything about it, but doesn't hurt to get it registered.
  6. Yay, congratulation... please share what they asked and what is your timeline.
  7. I do not think so, as I have never come accross any statement that states it can cause issue if you are married after Vawa approval unless you are sponsoring your spouse.
  8. My file was sent to Nebraska but I was never informed. i only got to know after i did the Congressperson inquiry. but according to how it is updated on USCIS website I sent my EAD renewal to vermont. @Sandra G. do you see an issue there?
  9. I my Vawa was approved almost 7 months back and have heard nothing since then, I reached out to congressperson and received response that it is pending. they have not moved it to local office yet as well. looks like they are taking a lot of time now a days to process I-485.
  10. I know, Its very much important to choose the right lawyer, one of the Layer that i had a consultation session charged $450 for 30min an gave no information, by saying we will work on this and that and not even paid attention. Long story short if you are paying money, make sure you feel confident with the them, The one I hired asked me so many questions that I felt judged but also that gave me confidence that she knows what she is doing.
  11. We don't know the whole story, but if you are asking someone to get married so that you can overstay it sounds like the marriage is not bonafide. Have your husband ever applied for marriage based greencard for you if yes what poof he submitted for bonafide marriage and on what grounds he is asking for annulment. Then you say you family gave you suggestion about VAWA apparently which wasn’t smart. This all sound like its all for Greencard. If you cant prove your marriage a bonafide one your case is dead. Moreover If judge grant the annulment, you don't even have a ground for VAWA. So only if you tell the whole story people will be able to help you.
  12. Hi Fam, can you please let me know how and where can I track the status of E- request with uscis
