Hello group members. The status of the 360 application was not updated, but we received a letter that the case was approved. how normal is that I was following and everyone's status was updated. I don't know if we should be happy or not.

Hello friends, I am wondering about these two options, applicants who are under background check with 360 application, and also those who are already approved in 360 and are still under background check in next stage 485 application, which application is actually background and security checked? If they are checking on 360 then why is it delay for 485 background check reason .

Other applicants from my country got GC, so I don't think they don't have communication to my country.

Hello friends. I sent my Wawa case in 2019. In 2 years, 2021, my C31 category card was ordered but not sent because within a week the case status changed to reopen the case for reconsideration. Within a month I contacted Vermont and was told that my security check had not been completed and that was why there was a delay. A year and a half has passed since then, two months ago I contacted my congressperson and got the same answer, my case is under security check and they don't know the exact time. After the last case status change, I got two PF and I don't remember 5 or 6 in total since 2019.. Please tell me what they are checking that it has not been completed for a year and a half.I have been waiting for a decision for 42 months. I have seen same updates as I have and please share your experience. What is a security check, what are they checking, I have never had any criminal record in my life. Congressperson said we can’t do anything in this process.

thanks for answering. does uscis makes background or security check for vawa application? As I know they are doing the checks for 485 application. background check is it really reason for delayed case or its just automatically answer from uscis when case is out of processing time .

And the security check takes 1-2-3 and sometimes 4 years ? It’s not logical.. you mean usics are gonna re-consider cases? The background and security checks include collecting fingerprints and requesting a “name check” from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). What information they found if I never had any criminal in my life? For example what? My case is also under security check and never had any record. Also my C31 card approved then reopened because my security check wasn’t completed,and never sent the card officer responded that security check need to complete and they will send me my decision. It’s so stressful and unheard situation I never heard it

Hello. The C31 card was approved and on the fourth day the status was changed so that the case was reopened for reconsideration and a notice was sent. Half a year has passed and neither the message nor the card has arrived and wasn’t sent the notice for reopened. When I contacted Vermont one of the officers replied that the case was delayed because the security check had not been completed and therefore the case was not ready to make a decision. They can’t move forward until the security check is completed. After the change of status, they were sent to the third prima facie and renewed work permit . Is it really possible? That the card was approved and no longer sent to me because there wasn’t completed security check if it was just a reason and the officer changed his mind and had to reject the case. Please tell me something to do, imagine what it feels like to be in this situation
