Pointing you to the Guides so you can read and understand the AOS process is better than you asking random questions about different parts of the AOS process.

Hi! I've just gotten my spouse's DQ today! Now, we wait to hear from the embassy in Madrid. Anyone have recent experience with the embassy in Spain?

We submitted on October 22, approved November 18.

Its so funny! Checking your timeline , we have exactly same days for NOA2, sent to NVC and NVC case number. And we submitted documents on october 23rd!!! So parallell...i hope we get DQ tom, following your path!

DQ came about two hours ago! I'm so happy! My spouse had renewed her passport after we submitted the NVC documents, so we were uncertain if that would trigger a RFE. No, I don't think so. 
 
No, that can be taken care of at the interview. She can just show up with the new passport. The only potential problem now is that if the old passport has less than 6 months of validity like they require then they may reject that. 

My NVC case number came today! The case was sent from Nebraska on Sept 3,  so it was created 31 days after it departed the hellhole, and 57 days from NOA2.

Based on that scan you should be good. Make sure the black dots or squares show up on the transcript scans..

Congratulations!! The home stretch is there. 

Remember pro tips. Don't double up on documents when you scan them. Be safe and scan 1 document per pdf. Make sure they are vertical don't scan the BIO page of your passport sideways. If you gotta turn your head they are going to reject it. and make sure they are under 2MB.
