My AOS interview is coming up in 3 weeks. I'm adjusting from a K1 and I'd like to confirm if I have everything they may ask for. I have followed the instructions on the interview letter (although they have requested several items that were already submitted) and of course added more proof of bonafide marriage. This is my current checklist.
 
- Letter of interview notice
- Passports (Mine and my husband's, he's the USC)
- Copy of our Passports
- Original Vaccination Records received from the doctor in my home country during the k1 process - these are complete and still valid as my medical happened in February 2019 in Brazil. I had already submitted a copy of this on the AOS application.
- Copy of Vaccination Records
- I-864: The exact same one we submitted initially but with a more recent date/signature. My sponsor (husband) still has the same job with same salary.
- Supporting docs for I-864: Tax returns and W2 for 2018 (same ones submitted originally), Employment letter (updated) and 2 months of Paystubs.
- My sponsor/husband's birth certificate original and copy
- Copy of my K1 Visa
- Most recent I-94 (From my entry on the K1)
- My birth certificate: Original, copy, and translated copy
- Certified copy of our marriage certificate
- Bank statements of our joint bank account
- Lease Agreement on both of our names
- Joint renters insurance policy
- Our health insurance card with both our names (I'm his dependant)
- His life insurance policy with me as the beneficiary
- His retirement fund policy with me as a beneficiary
- Recent photos: Around 10 photos including some of just the two of us (and our dog) and with friends. We had already submitted photos of the wedding day on the application.
- 3 letters of support from friends and family (we can get more of these, but it doesn't seem necessary)
 
P.S: I have not been issued EAD or AP yet. I applied together with the AOS but got to the interview before any of them was approved.
 
I'd really appreciate any insight on what else to bring or not to bring. Thanks!

Well as someone whos going through this process LEGALLY. I get so upset reading your posts. Ive been waiting almost 1 year to move legally to the US (and other people wait even longer than that). Since my K1 petition ive been to the US 3 times and would have had the chance to just marry and adjust my status, BUT i didnt do it because i wanted to do it the right way and didnt want to break laws.
People like you make immigrating AND visiting the US so much harder, because the officers think "well another one thats just gonna stay here illegaly". 
I really really hope someone can report you and your family since you put your city, state and original country on here. 
 
You get upset and rude because people tell you, what youre doing is against the law and also not allowed on this vj forum, so childish honestly.
 

Hey everyone, my fiance got our case number today (NOA2 November 14th) and he asked the lady if our case would be sent off tomorrow. She said that unfortunately not as the number was just generated today and still needs further reviews... but she did tell him that our case will likely be sent off in two weeks, so I guess at least we'll make the next batch.

Most foreign people don't get why this mouring day is important or even who was GWB. For some, this closing day has an impact in their plans, I have a friend in Colombia traveling to a different city for her K1 interview and they told her in the embassy door that they will be rescheduling the appointment due to this.
 
I would be mad too if I had invested in plane tickets, hotel reservations, and had the agony of the previous hours to the interview just for nothing. But I also understand it's out of everyone's hands... 
 
It goes both ways:
Stop taking everything personal, he's not disrespecting anyone and it's a legit frustration.
Stop taking everything personal, the world doesn't go around your interview date.

He can include the rental income if he wishes. It will show up on line 17 on his 1040 tax return.  The mortgage doesn't matter. Many times a rental property will show up as a loss after expenses. I'm not sure if this is your case or what it means for the I134. Perhaps someone with more knowledge will chime in. Congratulations on your NOA2

Thank you! Yes, I got an email saying that an action had been taken on my case. So I logged into the new site and it was there - Case approved  The old site was not updated (still just says case received).
