  2. ~~Moved to Moving To the US and Your New Life, from Bringing Family of USC-as similar threads are discussed here.~~
  3. ~~One post removed for TOS Violation. PLanning to change your mine on a visit is still fraud and against the TOS. No further discussion of this is to continue.~~
  4. Sadly reporting something on the tip line doesn't go very far. You need to submit actual evidence. Get everything together to prove the forgery, send it to the consulate, send it to the fraud unit. I can't remember the actual name and how to get their attention to get it to the right department. @TBoneTX probably can help with that information. Once you send in hard proof that it was all a scam, send them proof of who he is married too and all the proof that marriage is still ongoing. Send everything you can think of to backup everything you know. They move slow so it can take years before anything happens. Talk to a lawyer and see what you need to do to clear that marriage since it is not a legal marriage.

  6. ~~One post removed. Please do not edit the quoted portion of a member's post. It is also English only in the main forums.~~
  7. I'm so happy to hear things are moving again. Congratulations. If she doesn't need to the passport for the medical you can go ahead and send it in.
  8. They have them at Walmart now. Petsmart and I didn't check Petco. Yes you must hold onto the stick. Mine licked it a few times then went crunch and the pieces fell off the stick.
  9. We bought the kitties these and they love them.
  10. Ask how many years she was married when she entered the US. She may have been given the 2 yr green card in error. Then all she would need is to send in a correction form to have the 10yr card issued. She has plenty of years as a permanent resident to naturalize under the 5yr rule and can do this even if she leaves her husband. She should talk to a lawyer about custody and divorce. She should do that then when she can talk to an immigration lawyer to help her file Naturalization. But double and triple check how long she was married at the time she entered the US. If she's been married nearly 10yrs sounds like 4-5 yrs before the move, so no way should she have been given the 2yr card unless it was in error.
  11. I made it Montreal Only as we did have members from other countries posting in there. It was causing some confusion. I forgot that some non immigrant visas are still processed in a few other locations in Canada. I should have said Canada. Feel free to jump on in.
  12. ~~One post split from an unrelated thread. A duplicate post in another unrelated thread has been removed. PLease only post a question once.~~
  13. You're welcome. Sometimes overthinking things can get the best of us.
  14. ~~Moved to Bringing Family of USC, from IR1/CR1 P&P- As the OP has stated this is an F4 Visa~~
  15. Folks I understand the need to share your feelings and frustrations. That is what this thread is for, but this is a Montreal Only thread. I understand sharing information and gathering information with others. That is helpful, but do not derail this thread with discussing other countries AP(they have a thread), AOS'ing(there's a forum for that) and illegal actions of others(against the TOS). It is slippery slope we do not want to go down. Canada has its own forum for a reason. No other country has been down the crazy rules road Montreal has paved.
  16. Make a list and mark the boxes. A general item description on the box and list is all that is needed. Such as cutlery, pots, dishes. If you are using a moving company they may want a more detailed list.
  17. ~~Hijack post in a 5yr old zombie thread split off to its own thread.~~
  18. She is still legally married, but separated. I cannot remember the forms so if it asks and will let her list her status as separated. Then list it as separated, if she cannot mark separated then she puts married. What did she put her marital status in all her other forms up to this point?
  19. ~~Moved to the Regional forum, from K1P&P- the topic is about a Phillinnes BC~~
  20. ~~Moved to SSN subforum, from the Canada forum as it is about SSC delivery.~~
  21. The Expiration date is the date she must enter the US by. The 90 days do not start until the date she enters.
  22. ~~Moved to the Canada forum, from IR1/CR1 - As similar threads are discussed here.~~ I would highly advise you to sell the house before you move. It can be a royal pain in the butt selling it after the move. Tax wise and such.
  23. Zombie thread locked to further replies. If you have a questions please start a new thread.~~
