  1. ~~Two posts split off of a Zombie thread.~~
  2. I would speak to an attorney who is familiar with AWA. Any other attorney is just wasting your time and money. Pleading down does not change the original charge either, USCIS will see everything.

  7. ~~Moved to CRBA, from Bring Family of PR~~
  8. ~~One post split off an unrelated thread and moved to K1 P&P forum.~~
  9. Last year a judged ruled that 15 months was not long enough to clear background checks. Listen to the lawyer, most recently every case I read about on here is being dismissed. Don't waste your money.
  10. It's been taking a few months. Just keep waiting. If you submit another they will cash both checks and it can complicate things.
  11. ~~Moved to AOS from K1 P&P, from K1 P&P- The OP is past the K1 Visas stage and is applying for AOS.~~

  13. ~~Moved to the regional forum, from K1 P&P- As it is PI specific.~~
  14. I didn't have my US passport last year when when my mother was hospitalized. I drove up with my old expired Canadian passport and my US DL. I should have thought about my birth certificate but I wasn't exactly thinking back then. I had no issues.

  20. Most like the MMR are given as a child, same with with chicken pox vax, unless you had chicken pox then they take your word for it. Tdap is a normal one for all adults to have every 10yrs, the Hep A and Hep B are newer. Hep B used to be given in 7th grade to kids (at least when mine were in school). Hep A and B are an issue here in many parts of the US, that's why it's being mandatory. They give it to newborns babies, unless you're me and tell them no.
  21. Yes the titers test results will be accepted. You will most like only need Tdap(if you haven't had one in the last 10yrs), Chicken pox vaccine if you never had chicken pox or the vaccine, Hep A and B. Plus the covid booster.
  22. When they enter the US they become permanent residents. You don't get travelers insurance because they would be living in the US. Yes, even though they are going to go back, the US is now their home. This is where they now live. That is what they are doing when endorsing the visa. When they leave to go back to tie up loose ends they would be considered visiting their home country. Avoid that company that wants to sell you insurance for those two months. If a claim was ever filed I bet it would be denied as they are not visitors.
  23. ~~Moved to Working and Traveling from Off Topic- The OP is asking about leaving the US after entry on a K1 and marry in another country.~~
