It is by far the exception that somebody is denied entry with a valid AP document. Just don't leave before it is in hand, don't forget it, don't break laws abroad, don't try to smuggle anything in, and you should be perfectly fine.
Also, watch for mail from USCIS to make sure you don't get an RFE/RFIE while abroad and miss the deadline for a response. USPS Informed Delivery (free) can help.

Congrats to you too! It took around 4 days from the 'card was mailed to me' status, roughly. I did get a tracking number through the app along with that status change.

I truly believe it's just a tactic some IOs might use to read your reactions, or that they're having a bad day. Sorry that your interview wasn't easy! But you're going to be fine, I'll be looking out for your updates. 

Nice to see movement on all your cases---a little jealous (not gonna lie) but happy too :) Stone clod silence from the Montgomery office. Maybe someday they will think of us and perhaps the EAD will progress too. 

I went to my AOS interview last week, they had my medical that I completed for my K1. Did you receive a copy of your DS3025 to ensure it's filled out correctly? That might ease your mind. You should be fine, the vast majority of people do not need to redo their medical.

I went to my AOS interview last week, they had my medical that I completed for my K1. Did you receive a copy of your DS3025 to ensure it's filled out correctly? That might ease your mind. You should be fine, the vast majority of people do not need to redo their medical. 

There is a clear set of guidelines in the policy manual exempting K1s from a second medical.

"4. K or V Nonimmigrants Applying for Adjustment [26]
 
K and V nonimmigrants applying for adjustment of status are not required to repeat the medical examination if the application was filed within one year of the date of the original medical examination, and:
 
The medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition; or 
 
The applicant received a conditional waiver in conjunction with the K or V nonimmigrant visa or the change of status to V and the applicant submits evidence of compliance with the waiver terms and conditions. [27] 
 
If a new medical examination is required and reveals a Class A medical condition, a new waiver application will also be required. In such cases, the officer should determine whether the applicant complied with the terms and conditions of the first waiver, if applicable. Such determination should be given considerable weight in the adjudication of a subsequent waiver application. [28] 
 
Even if a new medical examination is not required, applicants must still comply with the vaccination requirements if the vaccination record was not included as part of the original medical examination report. If the vaccination report was properly completed at the time of the overseas examination, the officer may accept the vaccination assessment completed by the panel physician. 
 
An applicant’s overseas medical examination report completed by a panel physician should already be in the applicant’s A-file. If it is not in the A-file, the officer should request the medical examination report through a Request for Evidence (RFE)."
 
Whether your IO knows the rules for K1 AOS applicants or knows how to read your DS3025 is up to them. 
It's always suggested you know the policy, bring a copy going into your interview and can confidently remind/explain to one that doesn't.

If all else fails, contact the USCIS Ombudsman.

I received my letter!!my interview  is on December 16. So excited and nervous at the same time. 😊

Yes that's normal, I was even given a slip of paper that stated my case needed to undergo a review. The IO told me that this is normal and to treat it like a receipt for the interview. 2 days later my card was being produced. Congrats!

I did, and it showed up today on my daily digest email.

We just had the interview and it went really good, the guy was really nice and said he had to go over our stuff and my status changed to " initial review"
Anyone else get that? Sort of suprised we didn't get the " recommended for approval" lol.
He said everything looks good but he has to look over all the evidence. Is that normal?
