There are plenty of resources online in the USCIS website itself that guide you on how to file for N400 online. Here is the link:https://www.uscis.gov/file-online/how-to-file-your-application-for-naturalization-online-video
 
As a starter, you want to create an account on myUSCIS. From there you can find N400 under File online and start the application. 
 
It's fairly self driven with a series of questions on your background/address/history followed by a bunch of yes/no questions and then uploading any necessary documentation (required and optional ones). 

Supprised to see Boston # 16. Took me 7 months for interview and 2 months for OATH. I thought we did well. 9 months from file to raising the hand. Aug to May of this year

I thought there might be a hope for WAC filers to get approved before November but it seems that they've really slowed down after July. 

I've never had problems with paying by credit card (and having a pending charge from USCIS on my card right now) from the I-129F through AOS and now ROC.
 
You know right away when they charge your card, you can get rewards from it, it's more secure than a check, and you can't accidentally address a credit card to the wrong person because you're just using their form.

Most likely your interview will be waived. No, they don’t process it differently. If they feel your evidence is enough, you’ll get a message saying that your card is being produced. 
If they do end up waiving the interview, when he files for citizenship he will get an interview+a test. If he passes the test, he’ll have an oath ceremony. Notice that ROC needs to be approved before they approve his citizenship.

Our packet arrived at the lockbox last Tuesday, and the USCIS case status page shows that the official receipt date was Wednesday. So overall it took about 4 days from when our packet arrived to when they notified us with our receipt number.

This is a situation where you would have been much better off spending more time together in person before petitioning anyone.  The 90 days is not intended as a "trial", as evidenced by the statement you signed on intent to marry.
 
And "looking good together"?  Really?  That is very superficial and not an attribute that will lead to a long-term committed marriage.

I haven’t checked my I-145 status since last month due to COVID-19 . Today, while at work, I was tempted to check my status and behold! My status says “new card being produced”.  I wasn’t expecting this, I feel overwhelmed. 
 
I am really short of words right now lol, feels surreal that the K-1 journey has now ended and the path to citizenship is now opened.

Interview ready to be scheduled, can someone link me to a page where documents are suggested to bring? (Boston Filer) 

"New Card Is Being Produced" 
 
My wife and I had our i 485 interview earlier this week and our status changed just now. A few points:
 
- We arrived 30 mins before our scheduled interview time but we weren't called in until almost an hour after the scheduled time. In total, we were waiting for almost 1.5 hours.
- Our interview lasted 40 - 45 minutes. It wasn't difficult and felt conversational at times but it definitely felt long.
- Know your application and evidence submitted inside and out and backwards and forwards.
- Don't expect a decision the same day. We were told they needed more time to review and would let us know via mail. Don't lost hope if this happens.
 
Our experience was good and we felt stressed but overall I am happy we did it and it's over with. I spent a lot of time on this message board prior to interview and got the feeling that it would be an easy interview (i.e. ppl saying it took 10-15 mins, IO didn't ask a lot of questions, same day approval). Some of my understanding were incorrect and I want to provide an alternative experience. Although we didn't have a bad experience, I would prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Hi everyone, interview went smooth yesterday (3/5). waiting time was around 1h15mins (probably we arrived late like 5mins before the appointment time) then intv was only 15mins. No documents or Evidences asked from us even we brought a bag of papers. The officer then printed a paper and congratz us. told me i will receive my gc within 2 weeks!

Interview scheduled for March 19th

I went to the SSN  office and applied for mine with supporting documents right after receiving my green card. 

Oh okay thanks, did they provide you with a tracking number? My case changed to Card was mailed to me last night 

I think it depends on how independent you are. 
I wont file join taxes with my husband. 
I think the US needs to modernize in many aspects with the inmigration process, and not all couples want to merge finances. 
And that is fine.

EAD CARD FINALLY BEING PRODUCED!!!! 

As long as he has a ssn, he should show up on a general background check. If there’s nothing there, the report will simply say something like “no criminal history”. 
 
I’ve had two jobs since moving to the US. One was about two weeks after immigrating and the background took a little longer than usual but still came back. The second one was about five months after immigrating and there were no issues or delays. 
 
You can always go into SentryLink.com and pay for a background check, just to see how it comes back. It’s like $20.

My husband was asked about his job situation and he explained to the officer the actual situation.
He was understanding and took the documents. 
I was approved for a green card on the spot.

Expedite for EAD - 34 days NO RESPONSE
Second RFE response received - 19 days ago NO RESPONSE!! Boston filer here and I’m completely over this process about to lose a good job offer due to being given false hope when I made the expedite request that I would get a response within 5-30 days. Numerous of calls to USCIS each week and still nothing no more information I hope that one time I call they will see more information than I can and give me something but nope. I get everyone’s case is different but I just find it hilarious that people that filed in October already have EAD’s and interviews scheduled and there is some of us here still waiting for one of this. Absolutely over it. Sorry I’m just ranting but I’ve been here for 7 months already and already been 5.5 months since I filed my paperwork. 

I had:
1/6 - New card is being produced
1/7 - Approved 
1/8 - We mailed your card 
1/9 - Your card has been picked up with USPS - Tracking number XYZ123456
1/13 - Your card was delivered

I have a company that wants to hire me....can anyone that was offered by paper (to expedite) a job position show me the letter (of course blurry important info) ? Please.Thank you

In my particular case the review of my REF took 4 weeks, setting an interview in Boston took another 4 weeks. The only "standard" time is the 4 weeks wait to be scheduled for the USCIS interview in Boston.

I am glad to see some people's cases are moving along. My wife and I are still waiting on interview notice but we are thankful her EAD arrived.
 
As a heads up to others, my wife's EAD and social security card arrived within a week of getting the 'new card is being produced' status.
