Regardless, I still feel it’s very disrespectful - to make people wait that long. And it’s weird to demand that people share with them intimate stuff to prove “relationship”. That always bothered me. Nobody should put their nose into somebody’s family correspondence and private life. I came here just for my husband, but we had enough of their attitude like they are mega stars and the best country on the earth. Four years here, I live worse than I did at home. Back in my country I had free health care, free education, 3 years paid maternity leave. Each to their own I guess, just didn’t work out for us.

Please accept my condolences. This is very sad.
You can write a letter to the service center asking to convert jointly filed I-751 to a waiver (box 1c on the form). Alternatively, you can file new I-751 with that box checked.
 
Most importantly, do you have the death certificate?

Just received a letter stating that my biometrics will be reused. WAC center!
It also seems like the app Lawfully sent me the notification with the update on my case, but I missed it 😅

We had out interview yesterday. The officer was a really nice man, however it was difficult to see what he thinks about our case. He asked a few questions like how we met, what did we do prior meeting and asked us to name the people on some pictures. He went through i-485 form and corrected if something was changed. Also asked some questions in the end of the form and after that asked us whether we brought anything we want to include to the file. We gave him almost all evidence we had, he just looked at them real quick and took them. He didn't need wedding cards and letters on each of my and my husband name (just showing the same address), he even didn't look at them. I also brought some photos made even before visa. He looked at them and also gave them back.
 
In the end of the interview he said that he needs to look at security check which can take from 10 to 60 days. He gave us a paper saying that our case is being held for review and it can take up to 120 days. I checked the status of our case a couple of times yesterday since I was expecting to see the update about that. There was no updates and case was still at "Interview was scheduled". Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and checked the status and it was "New Card Is Being Produced" 🎉🎉 🎉

and a warning that the appointment needs to be scheduled before the petition expires! However, Moscow told him that although it should not be a problem, he will have to fill something out if it gets close to the time. 

So another half an hour on hold (somehow didn't connect in my head that 2:30 Pacifc = 5:30 Eastern = lots of people calling when they get home from work), another expected answer.
Which is to say we have an NVC # now.🙂

sorry, I have no personal experience. I am also in the waiting stage. the petitioner should receive an email with an algorithm of action. not worry

Our lawyer just sent us the NVC confirmation  letter indicating that they are forwarding the petition to the american embassy.
